Alihan's Coffee and Breakfast

Possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Fresh, delicious, plentiful

On our road trip back from NY, we deliberately stopped in Pittsburgh just to visit Alihan's. The Turkish coffee is my favorite beverage and I'll admit I had 5 of them on this visit. 🙂 My husband and I ordered one of the breakfast spreads for 2 and it was fabulous. The veggies, bread with fresh honey and butter as well as the eggs were incredible. All of the veggies and fruits were fresh and delicious.

Genuinely one of the best breakfasts I’ve had! Everything was so fresh, tasty, and authentic. The pomegranate tea was likely a powder, but still tasty. We ordered the Turkish breakfast for two, it came with ample bread, menemen, honey, apple marmalade, olives, tomato, cucumbers, spicy tomato paste, and cheeses. It was a nice atmosphere, food, service. Must try if you’re in Pittsburgh!!!!!

From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a perfect balance of traditional flavors and creative flair. Every dish we tried was flavorful, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. Especially “menemen” was amazing.

The service was impeccable — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. Whether you’re planning a casual dinner or a special evening out, this place delivers a top-tier dining experience.

Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality breakfast and memorable service. We’ll definitely be back!

Came in and had no room to wait. Was completely ignored for so long that even other groups of people that were waiting before we came here also left before being seated. If you want to be ignored and stand around while the waitstaff hides in the back. This is the place to go to.

Honestly, the ideal breakfast in Pittsburgh, fast service, a clean place with a great vibe, and the food is unique and absolutely delicious, highly worth going to.

Delicious, unique experience. Quiet atmosphere. Responsive, friendly service. Great Turkish coffee. Flavorful, fresh, omelet, potatoes and fruit. Looking forward to returning!

One very rude server every time we come it’s 2:40, 2:45pm. She says they are closed! When the operating hours state 3pm! Close at 2:30 if you don’t want to be there past 3pm! The other server was nice and allowed us to get food to go.
There was a half eaten sandwich in with our Togo order!
