We just ate here for first time. Lamb chops were delicious. Also had Turkish Tea. The baklava was to die for. Absolutely recommend trying this. Nice variety on menu; good for gluten free and vegetarian. Cant wait to eat here again next time we are in town. It’s close to the Byham , Heinz and other theaters also. Grab a bite before the show!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and Gluten Free OptionsParking: It’s right next door to parking garage on 6th Street

Several members of our group ordered food only to find out that they were out of many items on the menu. Very disappointed.

The atmosphere is amazing, everything is clean and nice, the service is good and friendly, but the problem is the food. Firstly, the food was brought late, well, I understand that the fish takes a long time to cook and everyone waited quietly, and secondly, don’t the cooks know which food is cooked quickly and which is cooked late? While they were preparing the fish, my chicken got cold and they brought it cold, I reported this and hoped that they would fix everything and cook another one, but no, they just put it in the microwave and heated it up, what is that? It’s kidding or what? I'm very disappointed with the chefs that they don't know such basic things.

Great experience at Alihan's today! My friend and I ordered the iskander kebab and Turkish falafel. We really liked them both! The complementary bread is so soft and chewy. The ambience strikes a nice balance between classy and comfortable. We learned from the staff as they closed out for the evening that they had been understaffed. They were so pleasant and attentive that it didn't show! I highly recommend Alihan's for an all around positive experience.

I went here last night with my boyfriend and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the place. Service was out of this world first off. Joey is the best server and we will be requesting him when we come back. I am Serbian and my boyfriend is Iraqi, from all the Turkish cuisine in Pittsburgh we have had, this place takes one of the top spots. The atmosphere is also different than the other fast casual ethic spots in the city. Its nice to be served in a low lit place eating some of our favorite foods!! I had the adana kebab which was perfectly seasoned. My boyfriend has Iskander which also was incredible. The baklava was hot and fresh out of the oven. Everything was perfect and we will be back!!

Light & fresh lunch in between a lengthy conference day in Pittsburgh - good service and unique ambiance! I would love to come back for dinner some time.

Best Mediterranean in all of Pittsburgh. Make sure to try the Beef ShashLik, Turkish coffee, and Kunefe (for dessert).

One of our favorite places to eat in the whole Pittsburgh area! Authentic tasting food and attentive, helpful service always greet us. The waitress made several recommendations that were wonderful! This is our go to spot for a date night. An intimate setting with delicious food.

We had a wonderful lunch at Alihan's and then went back for dinner the same day. All the food was fresh, perfectly cooked and traditional. Especially good was the bread, the humas and the two salads we ordered. The lettuce was fresh and tender - I'm not sure how they got such good lettuce in February. The most extraordinary dish was Kunefe, an angel hair pastry that is one the best desserts I have ever tasted. The service was excellent and wonderfully friendly. Eating at Alihan's and meeting the owners and staff were the high points of our trip to Pittsburgh.
