The most special and incredible bakery in town! Especially love the raspberry danish, giant, chocolate chip cookie, cinnamon roll, and the sandwiches! The sandwiches

Unfortunately, I don't make it to this part of town too often, but we were beyond surprised when we made a last-minute decision to finally try it out. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich avocado; every ingredient on the sandwich was to die for. I couldn't believe how realistic the tofu egg was and the homemade sausage was way better than any real sausage I've had. My boyfriend ordered the Seitan Melt and has been begging to go back ever since (he liked it so much, he didn't even stop to take a picture of it!). It definitely hit his "Philly cheesesteak" type itch. We will certainly return even if it means making a special trip way across the city; we want to try other sandwiches as well as order some bread!

Truly everything here is top notch. Met folks that make a pilgrimage here from Colorado yearly. That’s how good it is!

I got the seitan sandwich and GOOD LORD it was phenomenal. All the flavors just melted together. And the croissant? So perfectly flaky with the right amount of chocolate.

I have been here many times, and I have never ONCE been disappointed. Everything I have had is like a piece of heaven in my mouth. 10/10 recommend. I also recommend ordering online ahead of time (either days before or morning of pickup) because they sell out FAST (good for them!).

Pastries and bread are amazing, particularly the cinnamon roll. Also great sandwiches (super filling!) and they often have rebel cheese and house made spreads in cold case! Always look forward to going when I’m in town

A pretty special bakery in their own right, even without considering that they are vegan. Probably my favorite breads in the city, very crusty and delicious. They make excellent spreads (hummus, muhammara, baba ghanoush) as well. The spreads are in fact my favorite part of this place. I’m always seeking these out even though they are typically sold out, so clearly not just me.

Sandwiches and sweets. Everything plant based and delicious. ❤️

Get the croissant. Fluffy, flaky, buttery perfection.

Everything else was also good, I just really missed croissants.

Our group tried three different breakfast sandwiches and a few pastries - everything was delicious!

Racist! Refused to assist me after asking for everyone who ordered ahead to step forward. They then proceeded to wait on everyone customer but myself. I then stated there is over 5 people here why I am being overlooked. No one else was in the shop and all the workers went in the kitchen after assisting the other white customers. I will never go here again. It’s clear they don’t need money from people that look like me.

Those who complained in past reviews about having to wear a mask or that they are only 100% vegan are ridiculous. The food is awesome. I had a quality danish and an amazing mushroom sandwich with quality bread. If you don't want vegan food or have to follow simple rules, go somewhere else. I'm here for the food.

Dang. I wish we had come here every day of our trip. So many delish pastries, massive sammiches, tons of variety, & locally inspired Eastern European noms. The “Brookie” cookie was maybe the most delicious cookie I have ever eaten. The breakfast sammie was the size of my head, but I still wolfed it down in like 5 minutes. The cinnamon roll was made with light & flaky layers like a croissant!! Really wanted to go back to try the focaccia, bialy, & rugelach. They also have a lil fridge of to-go picnic snackies like fancy vegan cheeses & homemade dips & spreads to pair with their many amazing loaves of bread. No indoor seating available, so be prepared to sprawl out in the nearby park, or take it home. Would also love to get an espresso machine up in this joint, but they do have drip coffee to go.

Their sandwiches are huge! The breakfast sandwich was the best I’ve ever had! Got a super flaky delicious cinnamon roll and a slice of artichoke bread. Will be returning on every trip to PIT!!
