Came here for my birthday and Altius did not disappoint. The Footprints Farm Chicken and the NY Strip were both 10/10. We also highly recommend the charcuterie board to start. The cocktails were expert-level and the service was seamless. Best of all? You can’t beat that view of the city. I was so full I couldn’t even manage dessert.. a sign of a great meal!

We had a really great experience. Alicia who waited on us was so knowledgeable about everything we asked and very warm and welcoming. It was my mom's birthday and they make you feel really special on your day. The food was excellent. Highly recommend.

I went to Altius with my teenage stepdaughter and we both agree that everything about our experience was wonderful, from the service to the menu to the drinks to the view. Jacob was an attentive, friendly, and welcoming server. We were feeling bougie, so we ordered caviar and oysters. Being from New England, I was skeptical about oysters this far inland, but they tasted like they were fresh off the boat that day. I ordered the sea bass with the chimichurri, which was decadent and rich — like sea butter! My stepdaughter ordered the NY strip steak medium rare and it looked perfect. We were so delighted by the little treats from the kitchen (an amuse-bouche of whipped goat cheese and honey and chocolate mousse bites before dessert). We will definitely be back!

It was my wife's birthday. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the menu. In addition, there were little treats all through our dinner provided as a kind gesture from the staff. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special event.

Great service, food and ambience. We were seated immediately upon arrival (a Friday at 815 pm) and we loved that they rapidly cleaned up the best window table in the house for us. Server Kate is top notch. Amuse bouche soup (cauliflower with truffle) was the best item we had. Paired nicely with the fun arrival snack of jalapeño cheddar popcorn. The focaccia was great when slathered in a flavorful herb butter. Apps: Lobster bisque was yummy and rich. I liked the addition of peanuts to the duck bao for crunch. The horseradish based sauce was salty and slightly overwhelmed the duck flavor. Our entrees (duck and scallops/shrimp special) were expertly prepared and delicious. Purple potato puree was a bit gluey in texture, but tasted fine. The maitre'd stopped by to be sure all was well. Dessert menu could be a little more varied/interesting; we passed as we were quite sated at that point. Altius is doing dinner right.
