One of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. We eat here on special occasions, everything is good.

Went for my father's birthday; this place is a gem! Food was great and the service excellent. Possibly the best crab crake I've ever had. House salad very good too. Excellent pasta and fish. Short rib was good, not great. Overall amazing food for Moon!

Nice selection on the lunch menu. Service was very good and the waiter was personable. My only complaint would be getting a water refill.
Had the burger and fries and it was cooked to my specs. Very tasty and well prepared.

Excellent food, in fact, beyond excellent. Service was great, atmosphere is fun, and we sat outside & it was beautiful. I know a lot of restaurants are raising prices and this place is not inexpensive and then charges you 3% after your bill is presented if you're using credit, but it is marked on the bottom of the menu. I think they should include the 3% in the food pricing which is more accurate and that it discount if you pay by cash. Most restaurants don't want to do that because they want to hide the increase

we went for mother's day and it was not worth the price. we got four different dishes and were not satisfied with any of them, would not return. the service was awesome however! i like the outdoor area.

This was a really frustrating and uncomfortable experience. I ordered a meal that was supposed to come with mashed potatoes, but when the food came out, they had replaced them with a rice mix containing tomato, carrots, and other vegetables without telling us or asking if that was okay. I have food sensitivities, stomach issues, and allergies that make unexpected changes like this a big deal. I also have OCD and texture-related triggers, so I couldn’t eat the rice at all. The server never came back to check on us or offer any other options. I ended up eating a bit of bread and some of the fish, but overall I felt sick and upset. The only thing I enjoyed was the drink. Definitely not coming back here again. Not a good mother’s day lunch.
I didn't get the table I made reservations for, and the food made me sick..hot turkey sandwich looked like it came out of a can, no gravy, and over salted frozen French fries...the library room was very nice, but not worth getting sick over. Won't be back.
