We went to the newly renovated Moon Township location. The food was absolutely amazing and flavorful! Portion sizes were huge! We’ll definitely be back. We gave the service a 3/5 stars not because of our waitress (she was outstanding) but because of the rude “front desk” employee! I’ve seen multiple other complaints about what I can assume is the same person. This employee nearly ruined our experience!
My family and I (3 adults and one 3.5 year old toddler) stopped at the Coraopolis location (1136 Thorn Run Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108) this evening 3/12/25 at approximately 6:45 pm. The front desk staff person (younger blonde) told us that it would be a short wait for a table. We gave our name and all took a seat in the lobby and waited for approximately 10 minutes while the young blonde and an older lady with dark black hair shot dirty looks at my 3.5 year old son. He was sitting quietly next to me, looking at my phone and out the window. I have no idea what their problem was, as we were polite and friendly. My son was not doing anything to warrant such awful treatment. We decided to leave as it became apparent that children were perhaps not welcome at this location? If that is the case, I apologize for the oversight but that still does not warrant the treatment my son received. I would even understand if he was being rambunctious or talking loudly/yelling but he was literally just sitting in a chair. If either waitress/hostess would like to explain why they felt it necessary to shoot my son dirty looks, I would love to hear it. I never write reviews, let alone negative ones, but I would like to spare a future family from enduring such treatment at your business.
We had a party of seven people on Sunday. Our wait was a little long because of the number of people we had. The manager and staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and well fed. The food was beyond amazing and our waitress was THE best!!!! Thanks Armstrongs for making a birthday celebration just perfect!
Quality Food, Good Portions, but serious issues regarding Menu Prices Listed on line, and "Sticker Shock" when U arrive for food. Plz Confirm the actual price when ordering!! An Italian Calzone and Provolone Sticks was $35.00.
Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry and exit doors with plenty of room for wheel chairs.

Excellent food, with tons of options. A large dining area and fairly large bar area as well. Fairly priced for the servings sizes.
The atmosphere is outdated, but well worth enjoying the food. Highly recommend the Italian deluxe or chicken Romano!

Steak hoagie was nasty, they don’t toast the bun even if they did it still wasn’t good at all. Zucchini wasn’t good at all, we don’t like the breading they use. The person that ordered the salad said it was delicious she enjoyed it. I have dined in and have ordered for pick up and this will be the last time I waste my time and money on this place.

so after a long awaited wait to come back here for my wings that I love love love I was so pissed that when my food came and yes I ordered wings because I love the sauce they make well they were so spicy that I could not eat them ,they were never like that before. what did they do drop a whole bottle of cayenne in there? I thought my mouth was going to blow up , I'm
very upset because I used to love the wing sauce ...

Portions are big and the employees are all very friendly. We visited this place while visiting family in Pittsburgh and we liked it so much we went back two days in a row.
Wheelchair accessibility: Curb cutouts and no steps to enter the restaurant.

This place used to be great. I don’t know what happened. Last time I went in there, I swear I knew the food was gonna be bad just by the server we had And what do you know I was right both my wife and my cousin Caught food poisoning and they threw up their guts, Not only that have gotten the most hard luck Cry face waitress , also everybody seem to be an asshole I won’t go to this place anymore even though Armstrong’s express sucks. They changed everything around. I don’t know if it’s the cooks or they just don’t care and living off their name. Either way I won’t go back there. i’ll take my money to pasta too

You know what theybsay about menus with tons of options...I ended up with a burger. It was fine, no better. People in my parry had numerous pasta dishes. No one raved about their meal. Armstrongs would probably be OK if you are burnt out on Dennys, Eat-n-park or similar. For us this was an occasion get together...i don't feel the food is worth going to on any day, let alone a special day. They do serve liquor, that might help the atmosphere and flavors ...

This is a great restaurant whether you're single or have a family. I've eaten at the bar and I've eaten at the table with friends and family. Their food is always warm and you get generous portions and the prices are great. I've also never had a bad experience with a server. Everyone is very nice and efficient and friendly.

Had Buffalo chicken wings last week they were literally 2 inches long with minimal meat. I can’t believe they actually serve these things.

Food was great as always but the restaurant was really dirty. Fuzz and dust hanging from the air vents. Strong musty oder. The entrance door to both restrooms were worn, grimy and just dirty. Stahl doors were rusted and I think there was a science project taking place between my booth seat and the wall. With what I saw I’m a little concerned with how clean the kitchen could be. As i said food and service were great but I think I’ll stick to take out. A little soap, water and some paint would go a long way!
