Arriviste Coffee Roasters — Shadyside

Place is okay. For my needs it fell short. I want a cup of coffee to enjoy while the ambience adds to it and develops culture. This place is more or less just scenic. The coffee lacked some of the character that can make a place memorable. It seemed as though it was a place to study with an entry fee of a cup of coffee. Place was reletively new when I visited. Could use some culture or element of draw. Great place to study and thats about it.

Their “Green Card Holder” drink with a joke about ICE in the description is extremely stupid. With what’s going on with ICE and deportation, you thought this was a good idea? Weird.

We love Kim’s shop, he roasts amazing coffee, offers great treats from local bakers, and supports local artists. So glad he’s a part of our community. We’ll keep coming back!

I love the atmosphere, quality drinks, and kind people at Arriveste. The baristas are so knowledgeable about the drinks and are happy to answer questions. I really enjoy the ever-changing local artwork and the music. Nice seating and I always feel comfortable bringing a book and hanging out.

Arriviste is my absolute favorite! Cassy and Al are so so sweet and always make my day better when I see them. The Ube latte is one of a kind and something that I always look forward to treating myself with each week. Love this sweet place!! <3

Incredible little gem of a shop. Not only are their specialty drinks fantastic- but they roast their beans in house!!! So cool since they are such a small shop. Their drinks are inspired by Filipino flavors which creates such awesome and unique products. The staff and management are wonderfully kind and welcoming to ALL. This shop is a celebration of diversity and exciting flavors that you don’t want to miss out on. (PS. Try the Pandan latte!!)

Try the flash brew iced coffee! Always a delight

Fantastic coffee, magnificent staff and a super atmosphere. A cafe and roaster that knows whats good! The only cafe I visit when I’m in Pittsburgh.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. As a Mexican customer, I hoped to feel welcomed and treated with the same respect as anyone else. I especially expected more inclusivity from the manager, who I thought would understand the value of diversity. Instead, I left feeling out of place and uncomfortable. That kind of energy speaks volumes, and it’s not something I’d want to go through again.

Super dirty, couches had stains on it. Manager was extremely rude. Treated me like a male when I identified as female. Not okay. Do not come here if you are looking to get mistreated.
