I called this morning about a job they had posted on Craigslist to this location and a very rude woman got on the phone to say "It Ain't Us" "It's CMU" and before I could even get another word out she hung up on me. So I called back and the same woman got even more angry because I tried to explain to her that she has multiple posts on the internet for this location, she got madd and told me to stop calling and hung up again. So here is the bad review I promised you honey. 2 thumbs down.
Almost no bakery available….
Overpriced for pretty average to poor food. Salads were only available prepackaged and very were bland. Breads and pastries were not great. They tasted like items you could buy at Walmart in the prepackaged section. The lemonade was decent. The only food item that was decent was a tiny sandwich. Honestly overall very disappointed. I will try coming again to see if it redeems itself with other food items.
Indifferent service and food prepared with absolutely no attention to detail. Craving unripened tomatoes? Like having all the fixings on one side of the sandwich only? This is definitely your place!
Love the soups. My favorite haunt downtown!
Got there a little before 3PM and the guy told me they were closed. Everything was packed up and nothing was out. Better off avoiding this place considering they can't even stay open till their posted time. The door said they were open till four. I guess the staff has better things to do than their jobs.
Staff closed an hour early. No special reason.
Hard to find, two locations closed near me but still appreciate free birthday pastry and coffee. Warm up the chocolate croissant just a smidgen, and it's to die for!
Great place to grab quick lunch
Excellent spot for a healthy lunch with fast service. The salad team is on point.

Consistent. A bit pricey.
WORSE PLACE EVER!! THEY HAVE COCKROACHES, GNATS, FLIES & MICE! DO NOT EAT AT ANY LOCATION
Rude discrimination against ask for salad and was told close but they made salad for two other white customers
I tried au bon pain for the first time. I saw the soups and decided on the half sandwich and small soup meal. I ordered a half sandwich and went to get my soup while I waited. The soup was empty and I was told they weren't making soup anymore. It was 1:30pm and they are open until 4pm. I asked if I could get something else since the two soup options I liked we're empty and the employee said "it's been sitting out all day" with attitude. Disappointing.
And maybe the world! I can't confirm the but one of my co-workers told me she knows someone that was held up for the last cinnamon crunch Au Bon Pain Bengal. The soups, desserts, and sandwiches are great too, but I can't leave leave without a few beagles.
