Got extremely sick after eating here.
Not every option at this cafe is good (my fav is the protein wrap) but being open over the weekends is a big plus and there’s plenty of seating.

Work there.
Slowest credit card machines on the planet. Ordering/paying/waiting/lines layout is completely bass-akwards and confusing.

They have hot and cold drinks available both made to order and self-service. Dame with the food. There are numerous prepared options for on the go eating.

Dear Au Bon Pain, I was thrilled to hear that the industry is moving away from cruel practices like cages and that Au Bon Pain decided to commit across the world to sourcing cage-free eggs. But it’s disappointing that Au Bon Pain is not reporting about this. This could lead to a lack of transparency and consumers deserve better. I encourage you to publish the progress you’ve made so far to transition to cage-free eggs! Thank you for the attention

I certainly can't recommend Au Bon Pain because I'm really disappointed that they have failed to follow through on the cage-free egg commitment they made. They clearly don't seem to think that stopping animal suffering is a priority. On top of that they are now hiding or deleting comments from people like me asking them to follow through on their promis
There is this one employee who is nice and actually does his job. The food is a hit or miss, there is this one employee, she's black and has red braids and she seems to always have an attitude, doesn't pay attention, and doesn't do her job properly, avoid her at all costs. The rest of the employees are tolerable and the ones in the early morning are mostly nice.

Food review of The Good Egg Sandwich (without avocado)The yolks of the fried eggs were the perfect texture, so soft that if they were cooked slightly less then they would be runny; the cheddar selected had a slightly smoky, meaty flavor that complimented the eggs well; the tomatoes, spinach, and lemon aioli sauce harmonized with all the other flavors perfectly; its only flaw was that the ingredients kept falling off, but that is user error and not the fault of the expert artisans of Au Bon Pain.
Vegetarian options: Has vegetarian breakfast sandwiches and parfait-- don't think there's any vegan options though
Dietary restrictions: A lot of eggs and cheese

Unfortunately though Panera bought the company and closed this location and the one on Sixth Ave. Across from the Heinz building.
Never Open
I have to wait 40 minutes for a tiny sandwich. Their tiny pastries cost $4 bucks. A large soup cup costs $6. Why??
