The guy who runs this place is so freaking nice!!! The portions are big, the atmosphere is adorable, and the dishes seem to be authentic Portuguese. We went during the week so it wasn't super busy, and the food came out quickly! Plenty of vegetarian or meat-centric options
My husband and I were lucky to be azorean cafe’s first wedding catering experience & were so happy with our decision! Elsa and team are so kind (you’ll notice this right away when you stop in for coffee or food) and professional. We were pretty laid back, but she continued to check in and make sure everything was ready and what we wanted. The paella was a big hit with us & guests, and we also had Mac n cheese and other more traditional food items for the less adventurous...
Always happy when I walk by and they're open, I can never resist their pastries. I always get a pastel de nata and usually something else (this last time I tried an amazing gluten free almond and chocolate tart), and everything I've ordered from their brunch and sandwich menu is always delicious. Highly recommend, and the paintings of the flowers make me feel like I'm in the Azores.
