The Owner David is humble and friendly. The chili and bagels delicious. Brueggers is down the street, but i take this over a chain every time! If you dance from entrance to counter up front you get a free lemonade! Cozy little bagel shop in Sq. Hill. Check them out for good food in a good atmosphere!

We have been here two times and were overcharged both times. The price written was different and the price charged was different. Never going to visit this place again. The guy on the counter would try to sweet talk and would overcharge without you paying attention. Bad business practice

This spot is our go to for both a morning bagel sandwich AND large catering orders for brunch parties. The staff is great, helpful and work with you to make sure you’ve got everything you need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was expecting a lot more. I paid $50 for three bagel sandwiches, two small coffees and a chocolate milk. That is outrageous. In New York City I can get bagels that are 10 times fresher and yummier for half that price. You got to be I'm kidding me. Also, my egg sandwich didn't taste fresh and the sausage patty was really thin. I think if they focused on just the bagels; making them really fresh and a nice egg and cheese or whatever filling.... they might get more service. I'm sorry but I can't come back with those prices and a sandwich that doesn't taste really fresh and good.

Wow. This is the best bagel I’ve ever had. Onion bagel with egg and cheese. Super affordable as well. I will crave this bagel for the rest of my life. As an out of towner, I did get a little confused on the set up, but I figured it pretty quick. It was delicious, fast and there was outdoor seating. Will try to return asap.

Unfortunately, I see why this place has quite a few negative reviews. The food didn’t have a ton of flavor. I got to try their matzoh ball soup and some of their challah bread.
Neither was particularly impressive, and I really was hoping for that small quaint Squirrel Hill shop vibe but just didn’t really feel it. It was one giant matzoh ball, which was decent, but there were far too many onions in the soup. Broth was still pretty comforting. Vegetables may have been canned, I’m not sure.
The challah was also just not my favorite. Seemed quite dry. Okay portion and it comes as a free side with the soup but I just wasn’t the biggest fan. Maybe I’ll come back to try something different next time, I’m not sure.
