Mixed experience. Food and drinks were just okay, nothing stood out as such. Service was great.

I have been coming here for years. This is probably my favorite happy hour spot in Pittsburgh. Food is always consistent and fresh.

Y'all...this was not our plan for a work dinner. We were heading to a steakhouse but GPS said the 30 min drive was going to take over an hour because of slow downs. So we used Google to find food....so we picked Bahama Breeze...
Now let me tell ya, so grteful for that change in plans!
Donnie was our server and let me tell ya, he was a delight! He answered all our questions and gave recommendations. Our water glasses never made it to the halfway point before getting filled.
The apps came out very timely, food came out hot and fresh. Everything was tasty and presented nicely.
Their drinks are mixed right and delicious. Definitely will revisit next time I'm in Pittsburgh!

I made reservations and was sitting outside waiting and no one called, text, or email me that my table was ready. When I went into the restaurant there wasn't that many people in there. The food wasn't that good. Especially for the price.

We've frequented this brand regularly in FL. and always enjoyed the food and vibe. So, when the opportunity to visit the one in Pittsburgh presented itself, it was an easy choice. In hindsight it was a really bad decision. The minimum is 1 star by default, so I chose 2 🌟 because the server was on point. The rice, not so much- it was crunchy (raw). Chicken was hard (overcooked) that was the pineapple bowl. The jerk pasta. No jerk flavor. The ball was dropped a long time ago; a huge dinning area with fewer than 6 parties, No vibe. Totally disappointing.

Mid tropical themed food but my very boring aunt and uncle nearly fought my dad because they were so disgusted he would order mostly raw seared tuna, so that alone was worth the trip. Staff were very accommodating as well.
We love the atmosphere, the fresh seafood, and the friendly service. The music and dim lightning made it feel cozy and romantic. We will definitely come back)

We asked for a cheeseburger without pork because we can’t eat pork, and we also ordered pasta. We ate the pasta there, and when they brought the burger, we asked again to make sure it was without pork. They told us yes, so we took it home. But when we started eating it at home, it turned out it had bacon in it. I’m shocked — what kind of service is this?

I sat at the bar, i was the only one at the bar. I looked at the specialty drinks and told the bartender I wanted something that wasn’t sweet like a rum runner and she recommended a king carnival which I ordered trusting the bartender knew what she was serving. She did NOT know her drinks as it was the same overly sweet mix. When she asked how I liked it and I told her it was the same sweetness that I didn’t want. She didn’t offer me a new drink and she explained how they’re made in big batches by the kitchen. I don’t order batch drinks. For $12.99 I want a Craft cocktail made in front of me. For a Caribbean restaurant, I was disappointed that it didn’t taste like fresh juices.
I ordered food togo. The other bartender only ordered part of my order. In the partial order, she placed the soup togo and the sandwich for the bar. I never got my empanadas I ordered and I had to wait while they returned to the kitchen to box my Cuban sandwich. When I got home and ate the Cuban sandwich, i thought it was a dry sandwich.

Stopped in for lunch and everything was fantastic. We started with the beef empanadas crispy, flavorful, and the perfect warm-up for the meal. The skinny margaritas were light, refreshing, and not too sweet.
For our mains, the seafood paella was loaded with fresh seafood and amazing island flavor, and the skirt steak churrasco was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Portions were generous, service was quick, and the atmosphere was relaxing. A great spot for a satisfying lunch highly recommend!
