I love this place and its unique atmosphere, desert decor, and alt beverages.
However, my experience with the DJ on 2/11 was very negative. Starting at 5 PM, I was evicted from my table and then the room was subject to excessively loud atonal sound effects and noises for the next 90+ minutes before the DJ’s set even started. Musical acts at Bantha in the past have been lovely and allowed for conversation and work to continue, but this one was not considerate at all.

This place is an absolute GEM. If I still lived in Pittsburgh, I would be hanging out here every single day. I highly recommend anyone get over here and check this place out!!! Amazing botanical goodies for everyone. Little Apothecary inside and you can make your own custom blend or use a house blend, plus krat tea and kava, definitely an amazing hang spot similar to the Bee Hive from back in the day.

It's a cool place with a fun atmosphere and very friendly staff. The only place in Pittsburgh that serves kava as far as I know. The only unfortunate thing is that the kava they serve is super weak (but still expensive) so you can barely feel any effects, even with the triple shot.

Fave spot in Bloomfield! I live close-by and am so grateful to have a great study/community space. The service is wonderful, I asked for an iced drink to be made hot and they were so kind about it!
