The atmosphere, on the other hand, is horrendously bland outside of the well-maintained vines that span the gaps between the all-white shelving and the all-white pipes. The lack of shadows in the building is disconcerting, the music is extremely loud, and the all-white color scheme may drive some members of your party to madness. Drink at your own risk!

What a lovely find! We stopped by Monday night before a birthday dinner. The server did a fantastic job matching our palates to unique, well-balanced cocktails. I appreciate he then explained each drink's ingredients to us. The food menu is limited, but includes some great basic bar snacks like labneh and olives. Thank you for the great service (unfortunately missed our server/bartender's name!). Hope to return next time we're back in Pittsburgh.

Bar Botanico is consistently one of the best cocktail bars in PGH. Their service is excellent and the staff curates experiences especially for your tastes.
The bar is definitely packed on the weekends, for good reason. Plan accordingly, do a shot with the bartender, create some new memories.

We went there with a group of people. All willing to spend a good amount of money. They seemed bothered. And at one point even asked us to leave due to our group not being able to fit at one table. We had about 15 people and were all willing to spend. Would not recommend. And their drinks weren't even that appealing or good.

These folks are doing some fantastic work with their cocktails. Great flavors, great creativity. Staff is also fantastic. Enjoyed my brief conversations with them around current menu and my particular off-menu order. 5/5 would cuss respectfully at the bartender again.
Drinks are always very good here but the bartender Erin knocked it out of the park. We ordered three “Bartender’s Choice” each (six total) and each one was somehow better than the last. They have some unique ingredients (like tomato gin) and she paired them so well. I don’t have a single point of criticism. These were probably the best drinks I’ve ever had. I wish I could have had more LOL. Also they are always very nice there.
