My chicken fried steak, eggs, and potatoes were solid, no complaints there. Unfortunately the service was awful. I had to get up and go to the counter to get their attention to place my order, and to get my check after finishing. They also only refilled my water once. They were not busy and the workers behind the counter were busy chatting with each other. I probably won't be back despite the quality of the food.

Regular hangout for Saturday breakfast. Reliable eats. Nothing fancy but a good home style breakfast.

Update:
New owners are a bit less attentive on service. Portions a bit smaller, eggs being the way they are, I get it.

Double update: new owners don't seem to like customers. We arrived at opening. Owner let us sit, but server had not arrived. He'd made coffee but didn't offer to us any. Odd. If that's how you treat customers, your servers won't be much better.

The food was very, very good. The servers were extremely friendly, but the time it took to get the food subpar.

Went on a Sunday, no wait, seated immediately plenty of open tables. Waited 15 minutes for server to take our order. Waited 1 1/2 hours for our order!! Other customers were getting ancy.

Pancakes were bone dry and inedible, french toast was undercooked. Needless to say we will never go back!

I have always loved the food and the staff at Barb's.

The service can be slow, but many times I wonder if that could be helped if the owners pitched in instead of taking up seats at the bar constantly or sitting for 45 plus minutes in the back on the stupid skill games they've clearly specifically installed for their own use. Or maybe they just really missed the ginormous blinding sign they used to have and figured making the side room look like a cheap vape shop was a better option.

Honestly yinz, it's embarrassing and it's a horrid way to manage your truly lovely wait staff. Barb's is a fantastic local spot to grab a bite but ever since Barb herself stepped down, the endless parade of AI generated ideas like buffalo cauliflower bites, qr codes that only work for iphones (which has been a thing for potentially close to a year and explicitly says on the receipt but I literally just watched one of the owners learn about today) and eye-melting LEDs has been one display of feckless, uncreative management after another.

Food was excellent. It's not fancy but exactly what we needed after a long night. Coffee was hot and the food was freshly made.

If you aren't looking for anything fancy but quick and great breakfast Barbs is the place. I appreciate they honor the men and woman who have served this great nation. They have a wall with pictures who have served. My grandpa and dad served and the owner was gracious and let me hang there pictures on that wall. Thank you again

Maybe it was a bad day for the server but the lady was very rude. Probably won't be back.

Love Barb’s Corner Kitchen. Nice folks who run the place and servers are cool too. Food is good for breakfast! Try the corned beef hash!
