Food gets a 3 star because they have drinks but no food. The drinks are delightful, and they have a free to play arcade. Get in, pay for a drink or two, then play all you want. A solid stop for any gamer. I will be returning.

Used to love this place and some of the best burgers and drinks. Now...no food, barely any games it should be called "Barshitia". Just close and let someone else run it.

On December 12th, 2024 Dating in Pittsburgh hosted a singles ugly sweater party at The Grinch Who Stole Pittsburgh - Christmas Pop Up Bar. We can't express how fantastic the experience was! The venue at 25 Market Square (upstairs of Barcadia) was brilliantly decorated, capturing the festive spirit perfectly—complete with colorful lights and playful Grinch-themed decor that set an incredibly fun mood.

With 225 participants, the bar service was impressively quick, ensuring that everyone got their drinks in a timely manner. That kind of efficiency is crucial at a large event, and it made the night run smoothly. The cocktails were delicious and added to the festive cheer!

Overall, 25 Market Square is a must-visit for anyone looking to celebrate the holiday season. We can’t wait to return for more festive fun. Highly recommend! 🎄❤️

Absolute POS establishment. Of their games, about 10% work. Honestly the owners should be ashamed. $10 for a beer and shitty equipment? I will never go here again.

Cool place to hang out and have a drink plus there is the option if you pay the additional to have access to play retro arcade games. Haha blast with a few beers. Staff are really friendly.

Drinks 🍸 were good, but 65% of games needed a maintenance tune-up because they weren't functioning correctly! This dampens the mood!

Though I've always heard of this spot, I never got to visit until recently. I was out filming videos with an artist when we stumbled upon Barcadia, early in the day before they were officially open. I peeked my head in and asked the manager if we might be allowed to film a bit inside, and with no hesitation, she welcomed us in! The inside was incredible to see. Though we didn't explore the 2nd level, overall it seems like it'd be an amazing spot during open hours! Can't wait to check it out then!

Host was very welcoming. $5 for all you can play.

There were 4 people behind the bar but apparently only one bartender. She was good. I'm confused what the rest of the staff was doing because until the bartender greeted us, they ignored us. One was very busy putting Bats on the cooler and couldn't even acknowledge us.

They don't have CO2 for their sodas. That needs fixed. I'm assuming they'll be closed soon. That's a basic. A vodka soda was a vodka water. The bartender acknowledged it. We already paid to play so ok. Drinks were not pricey but not cheap. It felt like a dive bar though.

The kitchen is permanently closed. You can bring food in though(unsure if allowed but we did) Management should probably encourage this especially for after 8.

The games were pretty good. There's a lot of potential. The one pinball machine had a razor blade stuck in it. But hey, it's Free Play. One of the Fast n Furious games was down but it's Free Play.

It's also probably Free Play because they didn't get permits.

Honestly, unless the ownership and management get off their asses and do something, they will be behind on rent and there will be a new concept here soon.

This can't sustain with shoddy drinks, shoddy management and 1 bartender with 3 bar backs doing nothing. It's a shame.

The fall cocktails are delicious and Caroline was an amazing, friendly, and kind bartender and conversationalist. I just got chicken fingers to go but these were so delicious that I finished all of them, which never happens. Best of all, I got to drink beer and play pinball so definitely a good evening. This was my first visit to Barcadia while traveling for work but I will definitely be back during my next trip to Pitt.
