It’s a simple place with a big emphasis on the food. The staff were super friendly and efficient and the food was mind-blowing. Had the Al Pastor in corn tortillas with a side of black beans and hot sauce and instantly was in heaven. Will definitely be back for some more very soon. I didn’t get to snap a picture but will try to remember next time.

Took longer than expected where I had to wait 30 minutes while I was the only person in the establishment. However I ordered there new Al Pastor tacos and they were incredible and came with some great rice and a spicy sauce that added a nice kick to the food. Everyone there was super kind. So if you got the time and want some delicious tacos I would 100% recommend this place.

If you like Mexican food and are in downtown Pittsburgh, make it a point to stop at this restaurant. The place itself has a wonderfully cozy ambience. Ordered the black and gold burrito. It may have a hometown name but it is wonderfully authentic all the way down to the mole sauce and queso dip. Just really flavorful delicious! Definitely going to be back.

This was my first time here and I enjoyed my meal. I would come here again next time I'm in the downtown area.

Had an original burrito with grilled shrimp - the food tastes so fresh! Their queso and chips are very good as well! Anytime I am downtown, this is a go-to place! Chefs kiss - delish!!

Fantastic. You get alot of food for the price. Friendly service and a nice little shop tucked in a small storefront. Great tasting and very quick. Highly recommend.

Good location with plenty of seating; much better than other side of Smithfield. Food is super fresh and hot. Enchiladas are a really good call. Good flavors in every single thing they make. Even when busy (getting back to pre-pandemic) the wait isn't bad.

I am super surprised at how good this place was! On the outside it doesn’t look the best. And, the prices are really quite cheap. The food might not be the most authentic, and it’s not “high class,” but it is delicious. I tried the empanadas with chicken and cheese, rice, beans, and a churro. The empanadas were incredibly good! They were huge too. Filled with lots of tasty cheese. The chicken was well cooked and well seasoned. I would have loved it to be a tad more crunchy, but still very good. The beans (black beans) were just okay. They tasted a bit canned, but they came for free with the empanadas. The rice was pretty good, but not that flavorful. Still tasty though. The churros was decent as well. It made for a nice dessert. Decent size, but the taste was not remarkable at all. Kind of standard. All in all, I really enjoyed this place. It’s some of the best empanadas I’ve had in a while. And, the sides aren’t bad either. Very good prices and portions. Definitely recommend for some cheap Mexican!

Food was excellent. Atmosphere is casual. Pricing fair for food quality. Plenty of vegetarian options.
