Finally tried a cut of pepperoni to go. I was initially skeptical and curious all at once. It was suggested to me to let the cheese melt a bit until you get home and that advice was top notch. This might be my favorite slice of pizza. The crust, the chunk tomato, the just melted fresh cheese with some quality pepperoni just melded in the most amazing way. No grease dripping everywhere. It's still my PGH Fav. People around here are Betos or Fiori's. I love both but Betos under this new management the last couple yrs is AH-MAH-ZING!!! LOL! It's honestly what you like. Crispy crust, chunky tomato sauce, I do all cold cheese, but people do half hot n half cold. Again it's what your in the mood for. I have family that come from VA for the other place. N other ones that come back home for Betos. I'm a Betos girl! 🍕

The counter service is so busy and still organized and friendly. The pizza is very different than what you may be use to. Cheese and toppings are piled on cold after the crust and sauce are cooked to a crispy tasty perfection. I like to take a few bites as served and then bake or broil the rest.
