This is a very cute and cozy coffee shop with more seating than I expected. There's a fireplace that was lit on a cold morning when I visited, which was a very nice touch. I got a latte and a bagel which were both good.

There are plenty of great small coffee shops along Carson St., but this one easily stands out as the best! The staff is always friendly, including the owner, whoâs there every single day. The food menu has a wide variety, and everything Iâve tried absolutely slaps. The coffee is always on point and gets my day off to the right start. My coworker and I come here daily now, and I canât recommend it enough!

Iâve been coming here often for their apple cake, which I had once and liked but itâs rarely available.
Today, they finally had it, and I asked specifically for one particular slice on display since some others looked smaller or a bit mushed up. The person taking my order (I believe heâs the owner) gave me a completely different one, the exact one I didnât want. When I politely asked again for the one I had pointed to, he refused and said, âTheyâre all the same.â
Even if they are the same, I donât understand the problem with giving a paying customer the one they asked for. The attitude was unnecessarily dismissive,
Between the long waits, inconsistent pastry availability, and unwelcoming service, this visit was disappointing enough to leave this review.

The featured artist screamed in my face after treating me disrespectfully on multiple occasions, including in front of colleagues, causing real harm. This individual is known for having a temper and a poor reputation around town, so this wasnât really about me â it was about his lack of self-control. I absolutely loath male aggression and donât think there should be any tolerance for it. I suggested that the owners create an opportunity to showcase a female artist for one afternoon, but unfortunately, the ownerâs wife said it was âtoo much troubleâ They choose to support only one aggressive and inappropriate artist rather than fostering a true community for all. So please donât mistake the amateur art on the walls as support for local artists. They absolutely do not support local artists or women. The opposite is true, and after being a very loyal customer for two years, I feel incredibly disrespected.

This place has a really nice ambiance and is a great spot for studying or taking pictures. However, it does get very busy and crowded. Unfortunately, the drinks my husband and I ordered were disappointingâI tried the frozen mochaccino and the pumpkin spice latte, and neither had much flavor. For the price, I expected better quality. There are definitely more affordable spots nearby where you can get tastier coffee.
