I had such a great experience at Bird On The Run today! The chicken nuggets and french fries were absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Easily some of the best I’ve had in Pittsburgh.
The vibe here is really welcoming and fun. Mr. Cole is an amazing guy — not only does he make sure everything runs smoothly, but he even comes out to cook himself. That personal touch makes the place feel special. On top of that, his positive energy and dedication are so inspiring — you can tell he works hard both in the kitchen and in the gym. 💪
Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Pittsburgh and craving flavorful chicken with a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This is the fist time eating at this place and I was not disappointed the food was outstanding and the chicken sandwich I ordered was huge and delicious and I was full after eating it so I highly recommend this place off of Banksville rd and YOU will not be disappointed either 💪❤️👍

Usually go for wing night, good food, kitchen can get backed up at times, shots are a bit pricy, service is good but usually only one person tending bar and serving, Street parking, limited seating, small outdoor space lots of great wings combinations

I am not sure how this place has over 4 stars. The service is bad. I got to the place for a take out order. The cashier/cook gave me aptitude when he was taking the order. The wait was not bad, but the food was so tasteless. The chicken stripes and the fries were overcooked and hard. The chicken sandwich had no flavor, even adding extra sauce to it. I would eat a Wendy's sandwich anytime. For the price, I expected something much better, a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The owner is a good dude. He genuinely appreciates his guests and treats everyone like they’re his friends since grade school. Food here is great. I use this place for my cheat days. I get the smokehouse burger every time and it never fails. These guys care.

You guys keep me waiting here for too long and don’t give the order. Either increase your staff or treat delivery drivers with respect. Don’t keep us standing here like this. If you can’t handle the workload, stop accepting so many orders or hire more chefs. This is not fair.”

Joe the bartender was super polite and knowledgeable. Asked him to mix me up a drink of his choice and.... Holy shit! It was delicious! My wife tried to steal it but I rather get the divorce papers ready lol the food was amazing! Chicken sandwich was awesome and the tenders were the bomb. Waffle fries were fresh n THAT BIRD DIPPING SAUCE!!!! All in all come in for the food stay for the great service and atmosphere. Talk to Joe, he's a very interesting person. Animal lover too.
