If you're looking for a seasoned caterer with outstanding selection and customer service for your next business event, look no further! Bistro to Go offered one of the most extensive and reasonable menus I reviewed for accommodating a variety of dietary needs, especially for appetizer selections. I received not one but several follow-ups leading up to our organization's event to confirm the menu and pricing. Their sweet potato empanadas as well as mini Pittsburgh salads were a hit and loved by all of our attendants. Will definitely work with them again if the opportunity presents itself.

This is a well-overdue review of Bistro To Go. We partnered with Bistro To Go for our September 2023 wedding and we're still getting compliments about our food! Bistro catered my mother's wedding in 2015 and the service and food were still as fabulous. What stood out to me were the little things. On the day of our wedding, I received a text message from the head chef with a picture of our Hors d'œuvre and appetizers wishing us a blessed wedding day. It was so sweet! Also, we decided to offer our guests buffet/stations so the food would stay warm. When my husband and I sat down for dinner, the head host brought us both a premade plate with all of our food options. We never had to lift a finger. What made it even better was our food was so DELICIOUS! I would recommend Bistro To Go to anyone bringing in their own caterer to their local Pittsburgh wedding venue. They will not disappoint!

The food was more like a home-cooked meal than what you’d expect from a typical wedding caterer, and the variety on the menu was really impressive. We had a family member pass close to the wedding, and we received a beautiful flower arrangement from their staff to lift our spirits. Bistro To Go is fantastic. They did a great job for my daughter's wedding this past weekend (July 2023). I wish I could give more than 5 stars for my review. I was the father of the bride, and was involved for much of the wedding planning. I am a very detail-oriented person, and they exceeded my expectations on every level! Nikki (the owner) was fantastic. I know she must be juggling lots of events, but she always personally took my phone calls, quickly responded to emails, and gave great advice and suggestions. I truly felt like my daughter’s wedding was her top priority. Shauna was excellent as our Catering Coordinator. She was very detailed and always timely with her responses. Together, they were so easy to work with and they helped us select the most amazing menu. The onsite event staff were courteous and professional. They checked-in with me multiple times throughout the evening, asking me if everything was okay and if I needed anything. We had more than 200 guests, and everyone was served quickly.
And then there was the food itself – it looked beautiful and tasted absolutely delicious! For cocktail hour, we had the Artisan Fruit & Cheese and Farmer’s Market Crudite grand table displays, along with Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and Crispy Mac & Cheese Squares for butler-passed Hors d'Oeuvres. We had the Sweet Pear Salad for our salad course. Our main course was Duet Plated Chicken Piccata and Glazed Beef Tenderloin Tips with Grilled Summer Vegetables and Rosemary Roasted Baby Yukon Potatoes. Our vegetarian guests enjoyed Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms. All of the food tasted amazing! We received tons of compliments on the food from our guests.

Bistro to Go catered my daughters wedding on 5/31/24. I can't rave enough about the experience! The food was fantastic but the staff was even more fantastic! She had chicken and waffles , which I have never had together before.. OH wow ! What a amazing combination! Also we had mac n cheese and wonderful chicken fajitas! Everything tasted delicious! The staff was extremely attentive and kept making sure we were happy and taken care of . I would absolutely recommend them for any event!
