Decided to try this restaurant for a light lunch. Ordered the cheeseburger since did not recognize anything else on the menu. When it came out it was burnt. This place is also really expensive as it was $19 for a hamburger!
One of my favorites for a quality menu with superb food and drinks. The atmosphere can get a little crammed so we get there early before the rush. The staff is beyond excellent and in all my years of dining here I have not been treated badly. Kudos on management!

Brunch is back at Bistro 19 and it is delightful. Our server was wonderful and the food delicious!
The food and drinks were delicious with only one issue. I ordered the Tuna. Since the menu listed it prepared rare, I specified to our waiter that I don't like mine rare and wanted it cooked medium rare. It arrived rare. I sent it back. My party was 1/2 way thru their meals when mine re-arrived now overcooked, because instead of starting with a fresh piece of fish and cooking to order they had just cooked the existing slices they had originally prepared. I expect better from a quality restaurant of Bistro-19 caliber. Since The Carlton closed Bistro-19 has become our go-to restaurant for special occasions. We will definitely be back because of previous excellent experiences, however this type of service in the future could change that.
The breakfast sandwich and espresso were so delish! Even the side of fries were tasty! Can't wait to go back!
The food and drinks are always wonderful here! The service has been better on past visits, but our server was still attentive and we had a good experience.
Food was delicious with the exception of the basmati rice on the Ahi tuna dish, it was dry and flavorless.
My husband loved his steak salad. He orders it every time we go there. He loved the Cava, too. I had the Chilean Sea Bass that they described here: horseradish crust, rice wine marinade, sesame vinaigrette, macadamia basmati, Napa slaw. It was not as described. I tasted no horseradish and the Napa Slaw was just plain red cabbage that had no dressing as a slaw normally has. Everything came piled on one another. I like my various foods separately on one plate but not stacked. It was also a rather small serving at $45 and I was still hungry after finishing. I ordered early a Cava wine to come with my dinner. It did not arrive until I was 3/4 done with my entree. My husband ordered a second wine and it too came rather late when mine arrived. The fish was still tasty but I think they could have done better by me with the dinner and the timing.
The food was phenomenal. Everything was delicious. The service is something I haven't experienced in a very long time. I look forward to going there again. The chef is truly a master at what they do.

Dinner was absolutely delicious! We started with the French onion soup, had the Chilean Sea Bass and finished with a cappuccino and chocolate cake. Wonderful service!
Our waiter oddly suggested refreshing our drink then said oh you don’t want another. Of course I want a second drink. I had to ask for more bread. He didn’t ask how our entrees were. He just disappeared. He seemed more focus on serving rounds of drinks to a very loud crowd of women. It truly was a disappointment and I only tipped about 16-18 percent. Not sure I’ll go back.
We are fairly regular and the staff and service is always great. tonight the food was even better than usual. My wife and I had the Southwest dinner salad and the Almond Chicken. both were great. This is a good, fun local spot.
I took two out of town guests to the restaurant. Everything was delicious!! Service was fantastic too!! Loved it.
We ordered the 8oz Filet Mignon, the Short Rib Tortellini, and the Bananas Foster Napoleon.
The steak was cooked well and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were great, a little on the salty side, but very good.
The Short Rib Tortellini, not so much. First it comes out WITHOUT any short rib meat. After tasting it and digging through it to make sure we weren't missing it, I flagged down our waitress and alerted her. She apologized and rushed it back to the kitchen. When it came back it had the meat, which was so noticeable we don't know how the kitchen missed it the first time, but also a new dusting of the already overdone porcini powder.
The Bananas Foster Napoleon was stale, dry, and the bananas were not caramelized, they were OLD, like what you would use for banana bread or muffins. Brown and disintegrating. The pastry was so tough, the entire dessert oozed over our plate when trying to get the first fork full.
The service also left much to be desired. We were checked on once outside of having to flag down the waitress for the tortellini mixup and when she did bring back the tortellini, she forgot to bring back the silverware and we had to wait five minutes for her to make rounds again so we could ask her for it. She also spilled a Chocolate Martini on our table while serving, apologized, but then never wiped it up leaving a very sticky mess on the table.
And after all of this, nothing was comped and the waitress had an attitude.
I would not recommend Bistro 19. In fact, I recommend you look elsewhere.
