It started out fine, I was befriended, I miss took that. Cat (a bartender )gave me free tonic water ( I was at a real Low in my life). Then I got band, I was talking about a higher power and it was not liked. If you don’t like what a person says, bud out. If you’re into ease dropping the Blue Moons the bar for you ( I was trying to help a lost soul). But if your a Real member of the LBGT community stay away go to P town. On my side of the road I like everyone. Everyone what ever race color or views are welcome there.

Getting condescended to about community building at a bar that kicks people out into the cold ten minutes before their closing time is certainly a haunting snapshot of queer nightlife. There's a bartender there that hates talking to black people so bad it's hilarious

A beautiful place to meet up with beautiful people. The bar tenders are lovely. Shows are top notch. Bring cash if you can as they have 4% charge on credit cards. They have an atm though. Drinks are some of the cheapest in the city so it’s worth it!

Such a fun inclusive bar. Packed with a LGBTQ crowd. The cosmo served in a blue glass lined goblet (more so the crowd doesn't spill than me) was great and served with a lemon wedge like i like it. Bit frothy but cranberry to alcohol content was well balanced. I haven't been here in 17 years. Good to see Eddieoke is still going strong. Never had a bad time here.

I've only been here on Saturday Drag nights, but I must say, it is some of the most unapologetically artistic and creative drag I've seen.
I wish there were more LGBTQ+ places in Lawrenceville.
Ive met some really nice, friendly, and wonderful people here. yet its also home to some unfriendly/unwelcoming (& in 1 case abusive) people sorta baked in to blue moon. Im sure the occasional party pooper isnt a big deal but if someone's consistently sour anytime they're not performing, maybe they kinda hate most of the people there and/or being there.
Oh and its a small place so expect busy nights to be crowded, possibly stuffy. Sound system cant handle the volume they play at so quality can sound, bad...
I wonṭ forgeṭ the great people ive met here though.

needs a serious update and a manager or owner to be on staff when their problems. my partner and I came here while driving home from Elkhart Indiana and there were a lot of issues going on along with a passed out man in front and there was no manager and the poor bartender had to take care of everything we felt bad but we did not stay long so maybe not this is the best place to go to for a relaxing evening.

I've been here twice and did not enjoy my time. It seems like a very popular local gay bar but as a visitor it didn't fit into my ideal of what I like in a gay bar. If you're in the Pittsburgh area I would suggest you visit the place and judge for yourself if you like this type of gay bar or not.

I used to travel... Which took me to that area I went to this bar....wow! It was amazing 😍 everybody was really nice... they have the back patio area... I am transgender and me and my girl did a show there on Drag night 💋 I miss the Blue Moon and can't wait to go back sometime 😁
