Went there for brunch. The space is inviting and the service is great, but the food is very average. I had the steak and eggs, which was sub par. I ordered the eggs over easy and they came hard cooked. I told them and they fixed it, but come on, we can't cook eggs? The steak was pretty tough for a NY strip. The other guests in my party also thought that their food was just okay. Everything was honestly so simple that it felt like I could make everything at home and better (I would've cooked my eggs correctly).

I have attended Blue Sky Kitchen & Bar before multiple times and always have enjoyed my experience every time. I was here last night with a coworker as we were looking to unwind after a long day at the office to kick back and watch the postseason baseball games. There was another customer seated at the bar for some time who made our experience rather uncomfortable. I do not remember the names of the bartender and server, but their friendliness and service felt very professional and allowed us to still enjoy our evening despite our interaction with the other customer seated at the bar. I look forward to returning!

US VETERAN AIR FORCE FORMER POLICE OFFICER AND 2019 PRESIDENTIAL AWARD RECIPIENT-MY TWO CENTS: only 3 people at the bar during this time. Only one paying customer and Bar Tender's Husband his buddy and me. In fact I visited this location multiple times and I've never seen anybody who looks like me there now I know why!!! I didn't even eat this food too much bad karma.

I recently visited Blue Sky while on a business trip to Pittsburgh, PA and had a disappointing experience. While the bartenders were friendly and helpful, I encountered an issue with my order.

When my food arrived, it had a side of ranch dressing, which I do not prefer and makes me very ill. I requested blue cheese dressing instead. The server, Alicia, seemed hesitant and suggested taking the entire order back to the kitchen to add the correct dressing.

I found this approach unusual and expressed my concern. To my surprise, Alicia then placed the blue cheese dressing on the bar in front of other customers, (Audrey's husband Thomas) who proceeded to slide the container of blue cheese down the bar to passes it to me. This felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. Especially since they were eating with their fingers. Audrey was also eating while making my drink. They were eating French fries and licking their fingers.

I asked Audrey why Alicia hadn't simply provided the blue cheese dressing directly to me. Her response was unclear, and her actions seemed strange and inappropriate.

When I mentioned my concerns to another server, Audrey, I was unexpectedly asked to leave. This was a surprising and disappointing reaction.

I later spoke with the manager, John, and explained the situation. I felt that the restaurant's staff had handled the situation poorly and in a way that was disrespectful and unprofessional.

Given my experience, I would recommend caution to others considering this restaurant. Especially, if you are visiting from out of town. Because, this same server Alicia brought free fries for Thomas, Audrey's husband. I am so surprise that Audrey asked me to leave because this was my 4th time purchasing food there while staying at a hotel across the street. This place is not what you want. Very weird. I want to say more but if you look like me AVOID THIS PLACE!

The bar is empty and it's just not worth it. I had fries and wings, and two cocktails. I was ordering my lunch and dinner there too and thought they were friendly. But was I ever wrong.

I wonder why Audrey and the manager John think it's okay for Thomas Audrey's husband and his buddy to slide me blue cheese down a bar while they scarfed down fries with their fingers NASTY.

Maybe, Matt Turbiner will read this and really consider that we have 200 plus People in our group and his restaurant is still empty. It's not the food it's not the drink it's your staff. Literally stop spending money on the radio commercials I've heard the marketing you need to change your staff sir. They lack diversity.

This place is the worst arrived at 12:30 for a comedy brunch show and that I couldn’t be seated
Not even at the bar. But I could get a seat outside

I want to like this place more than I did. The atmosphere is incredible, especially if you sit outside. There was live music that really enhanced the vibe without being intrusive. We were with friends and tried several appetizers. The fried pickles and the sweet potato tater tots were absolutely amazing, as was the buratta. The fried shrimp was good but not something I would crave. For dinner I had a chimichurri burger. Flavor was ok, it desperately needed salt. My wife and one of our friends ordered tacos and shared them. They too were just ok. Our other friend had the salmon which was requested to be cooked medium rare but came out well done. But he did say that it was delicious in spite of this. Cocktails were just ok as well. I would return here in a heartbeat for the apps, have a beer or two but would eat dinner elsewhere. Or just gorge myself on apps, they were that good.

Parking: I did have to ride around a bit to find parking. Fortunately we were there after 6 pm and street parking was free, but we had to walk a little bit.

I only had limited appetizers, which were part of the private event, but they were delicious! My biggest complaint is that there is only one bathroom stall for use.

We enjoyed out visit and were pleased that 6 of us had no issues getting separate checks since we all were paying our own way and it gets too confusing when splitting checks. The service was great and the waitress exceptionally friendly. We enjoyed the food, I had a salmon sandwich which was delicious! Those who had the soup didn't like the cheese on top (some sort of tomato-based soup, not French Onion, but had just as much cheese on it as French Onion and didn't work well with that soup!). Otherwise, they were satisfied with their sandwiches and salads. Overall, a very nice atmosphere... we sat inside due to rain, but I've also sat outside and enjoyed the patio.

We enjoyed our meal and service. Not sure where the best place to park, but once inside the staff was friendly and helpful. The menu was good. I had the cheesesteak special, the shrimp tacos were very good as well. The ice cream dessert was shared and devoured. I will definitely be back. The atmosphere was chill with TV's. I will be back during football/basketball season.
