this place is awesome!! the staff are so incredibly friendly and polite; i went to put my trash away and a man told me to just leave it and he'd get it haha. the food is amazing and the portion sizes are super generous for the prices (which are already reasonable!). i was not expecting the passionfruit tea to have actual passionfruit in it haha, that's really impressive, it was really good and the woman who made it even checked to ask if the sweetness level was okayðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ«¶ðŸ«¶ðŸ«¶ would recommend to anyone!

The chicken was hot and freshly fried! It was very tasty. They have friendly service as well!
This place specializes in fried chicken, and they close very late at night. Every time I've ordered, they've made it fresh to order. It's quite literally as fresh as fried chicken could ever be. It's hot, crispy, tender, juicy, and I detect no quality or freshness issues with the chicken itself. It's also not too salty, and clearly the skin and batter are salty enough for me. Those who want a fried chicken that's not too salty will be very happy with the fried chicken here.
Personally, I think it'd be for the best if the meat of the chicken itself could be saltier. While I have ways around it such as making a dipping sauce or eating it with rice + salting the rice, I'd personally love it if the meat itself had more salt in it. But of course, you can't please everyone, and adding more salt might make people upset. I'll be happy either way, and my dad is very pleased with the overall flavor and saltiness level. Maybe I'm the weirdo of my family here.
Other thoughts:
- the tea part of the boba is brewed from whole leaf. They have their tea leaves on display in pre-portioned bags. That said, I haven't really tried their boba though, but this would make them the one and only place here that does super late night boba tea.
- ordering mixed chicken results in them giving you only drumsticks and thighs. To me, this is a very very very good thing. It seems they save chicken breasts for at least the sandwiches.
- at the time of writing this, the price is quite fair and is essentially the same price as KFC and Popeye's and potentially even cheaper
- at the time of writing this, they switched their closing hours from 11:30 pm to 2:30 am. Yes, they're closing a fair bit later than they used to. I'm not sure if this is sustainable, but this definitely helps me out since I mainly crave fried chicken at such unholy hours.
- it seems they added ribs to the menu in the time I haven't been looking. I haven't ordered it though, but it's an interesting choice.
- it's an independent local fried chicken restaurant. It's a local business and one of the rare non chains that does fried chicken.
- if you have problems with the wait time, order online or ideally order over the phone. They make everything fresh to order. I can't comment on stuff like the burgers, but I watched them do it for at least the fried chicken.
Overall, I'm quite happy with this place, and I'd definitely say it's underrated.

A fast food loved by both adults and children, spicy chicken wings are definitely the first choice, milk tea is also a must, and my favorite is the hand-shaken yogurt series, you can try it boldly, yogurt lovers will definitely not let you down.

I live nearby and was very excited to try Bomb Chicken! It’s not bad in any way—but I prefer 98k in Squirrel Hill. The two places are extremely similar in taste, but I found Bomb to be a bit lacking in flavor in comparison. The fries were also a bit soggy and not crispy, even though we waited and made our orders in person. The passionfruit green tea was great, although it’s worth noting that the tea you get with the combo does not come with toppings. I would definitely come back if I don’t have time to head to Squirrel Hill!

Food is average, but the milk tea was genuinely the worst I've ever had-- and trust me, I've had terrible milk tea. Not only that, but the boba tasted like it had been put into a container of chicken grease-- it was salty and almost tasted oily. 🤮

Got a 4 piece combo and the chicken here is unreal. Crispy, moist inside, and well-seasoned. Owner was super nice too and though I got take out the inside of the restaurant looked really nice and clean. Highly recommend
