The brunch here was amazing, seriously one of the best I've had in recent memory. Good portion size and strong drinks. The inside has lots of natural light and is broken up into smaller enclaves so it feels more intimate.

My partner and I came here for our late Valentine's dinner and were very impressed. The menu had a great selection of entrees, and I was super pleased with my meatloaf. We got the deconstructed smores for dessert which was the perfect end to our celebration dinner. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions regarding drinks. We will be back!

Chef Chris Bonfili and his team have created an outstanding and delicious menu. My wife and I visited for Valentine's Day 2024 and had a delightful time. The entire team was warm, professional, and pleasant. The food and drinks are creative and yummy, and the portion size is perfect. We enjoyed ourselves very much and fell in love again (after being married for 37 years..!!)

Loved the ambience and small menu. Food was great (meatloaf was stellar) and apps were delicious. I would skip the dessert; when you try to make desserts fancy/special... it seems to be more about presentation vs flavor. Sometimes you just want cake. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back!

Bonfire was almost completely empty when I visited for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was chill, well kept and clean. The staff was friendly. And the food was okay. It was tasty and well prepared. But it wasn't that remarkable. Overall it was a nice visit but I probably wouldn't go back.

We have been to Bonfire multiple times over the past couple years and are consistently happy with our meals, drinks, and service. The food is always delicious, cooked perfectly, and bursting with flavors. The drinks are always great and the service always friendly. We’ve even gone with our kids and they are incredibly accommodating. I don’t know why this place isn’t busier!

I went to Bonfire Food and Drink for the first time during Restaurant Week. I made reservations for me and a friend. We arrived and were seated immediately. The wait staff was very attentive and provided excellent service. They patiently answered questions about the menu. Each course was delicious. I think the Crispy Brussel Sprouts were the best I've ever tasted. They had smoked grapes and brown butter aioli. I cleaned my plate!I wasn't sure if I would like the Cheesecake Mousse & Cinnamon Madeleine Sponge cake, because I generally don't like sponge cake, but I was assured that the dessert chef is very talented and if I didn't like it, they would bring me a different dessert. It was wonderful. I asked our wait staff to ask the chef to add it to the regular menu. I will definitely go back!Parking: I found on street parking close to the restaurant after driving around for a few minutes. In general, it can be tricky finding parking in the Southside.

Truly Bonfire has the most consistently amazing food I’ve experienced in Pittsburgh. The menu is creative and varried, there are plentiful vegetarian options, the are portions reasonably sized, the cocktails are fantastic and the service is always awesome. This is my finance and I’s favorite spot in town and you can always get a table (for now). We can’t recommend Bonfire enough!!!Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetarian options!

It is a nice place, the downstairs is energetic though very loud. The upstairs was more sedate and also oddly loud. I was looking forward to the food based on the menu, but overall I was disappointed. It took at least half an hour to get the cocktail we ordered which was just ok. The brussel sprouts were fabulous. We ordered the wagyu meatloaf and it was dry and without much flavor though the crispy onions on top were delicious. The chicken cheesesteak flatbread was strangely sweet, not crispy and tasted nothing like a cheesesteak (or even a good flatbread). The waitress was very nice, but service was slow. Might give it one more try but not rushing back.

My husband and I dined at Bonfire during Restaurant Week Jan 2024. The waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive (just the right amount of interaction) and the food was delicious, pleasing to both the eye and the palette. We've always enjoyed the soups they served at the annual Southside Soupwalk and we were not disappointed at all with our first dine-in experience. Bonfire will be on our regular dining rotation going forward.
