The best Artisan bread in the area. Their Tuscany, which is only available on Tuesdays, is worth the trip. It also freezes well. I called on Tuesday morning, placed my order, and picked it up in the afternoon. Everything was ready for me when I got there. The bakery employees are friendly and very helpful.

I grabbed salt sticks yesterday & didn’t notice exactly salty they were until I went to eat one. I like things salty, but these burned my mouth & are completely inedible. Maybe I got a bad batch, but if this is how they are supposed to be, I honestly don’t know how people can eat them.

Awesome fresh bread & rolls specially made rustic breads. Oh yeah classic Pittsburgh salt sticks. Entire staff gave warm greeting upon our arrival. I previously used Breadworks as my main bread supplier for my pizza shop in the mid 80s.

I love Breadworks and recommend it to everyone! I live about a mile away and have been going to the retail store at the bakery for 10 years and have never been disappointed. Great selection, great prices, high quality and friendly staff. My favorites are the ciabatta, pumpernickel, & potato buns but everything is excellent. There are no preservatives, you can order ahead, and it freezes very well. I rarely buy bread products anywhere else.
