First time having dinner at Brick and Barrel for an anniversary celebration with my husband and could not have been more pleased. Walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. Manhattans, filet, crab cakes and dessert were superb! Only to be outdone by the attentive service of our fabulous waitress, Fay. Fireplace on in our dining area provided a warm and comfortable setting. Pizza was taken home and that was excellent as well!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Brick and Barrel Cross Keys last night, and we are still savoring the memory. From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
We began with the bruschetta appetizer, topped with a balsamic glaze that was absolutely delicious– fresh, vibrant, and the perfect way to ease into the meal.
For our entrées, we both chose the bone in pork chop with their seasonal cherry citrus sauce. The sauce added a bright, unexpected layer that elevated the dish beautifully. Every bite was rich, tender, and full of flavor.
We also shared the duck fat french fries (crispy, and indulgent), mashed potatoes (delicious and comforting), and green beans, (perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection). Each dish was thoughtfully, prepared and incredibly satisfying.
Britney, our server, was a true gem - warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel instantly welcome and added such a personal touch to the evening.
A heartfelt thank you to Chef Colin as well– his cooking was nothing short of exceptional. You can taste the care and creativity in every dish. Brick and Barrel, you have earned two very enthusiastic fans. Thank you for a memorable evening. We will definitely be back!

A large group of us (12) decided to come get after a hike in a local park. We all were able to sit together in a nice side room together (with the Steelers game on!). The on tap beer selection is great and they have lots of house cocktail options. The food, especially the crispy pizza, was excellent! Everyone had a nice time and appreciated our server Brittney very much. A local we made friends with even treated us to a special buffalo chicken pizza not even on the menu. Overall a great experience!

Server forgot my drink order. I was charged 1/3 of an appetizer that I only had a bite from. I think the charge was 3.75. I didn't even order the appetizer. Caeser Salad was just ok. Chicken was dry.

I love the exposed brick, the flooring, the whole 1800's vibe of the place. And their food was stellar! My husband loved the music videos playing on the tv.

We went here as a group of 14 for my sister's 40th birthday after stopping at a local winery. We had Taylor as our waitress, and she was fabulous! The outdoor seating area was wonderful, and the inside was very neat. It's a renovated old home from 1850. There is a residential spirit who lives there named Kathy. We saw no sight or sound of her ourselves (my niece was desperate to see her), but there was something really special about the place. Despite the house's sorted history, the staff were very kind and welcoming. The food and seasonal drinks were delicious. I would absolutely recommend!!

The Cross KeysInn is a beautiful historic building that I’ve grown up admiring. We hadn’t heard much, good or bad and it is close to home so we hoped the meal would be great. Even walking in the door was disappointing. Dead bugs and dirt all over the front windows, dead and faded fake plants on the front porch area made me sad. The staff “uniform” of short shorts or casual pants and black tshirt looked sloppy and did not inspire confidence in what we were about to experience. The giant pretzel came with 2 sides of disturbingly coagulated cheese sauce. It was almost solid and we didn’t dare eat it. My French onion soup had small bits of burnt something in it, not browned cheese but black, pieces of charred something. The soup itself was mediocre at best and we were charged $2 more than the menu advertised. My husband’s pizza looked like something you’d get at Chuckie Cheeses, nothing about it looked or tasted as if it came from a brick oven. You’d have to show me for me ti believe it didn’t come out of a box. They were out of sausage and said they would add extra pepperoni and “carved” ham. It didn’t appear like there was “extra” anything and the ham looked as if they chopped up some lunch meat from Giant Eagle. I got the wedge salad which is made with romaine. I wasn’t expecting it to be a halved romaine head with bottom left on. How does one WASH romaine in this manner? For safety reasons I would not serve romaine like this and wouldn’t have order it if I knew. The huge chunks of lettuce were topped with blue cheese, bacon and about 8 little pieces of red onion and several halved grape tomatoes all thrown on as if an afterthought. The noise from the kitchen printer, bar tender’s cell phone and singing manager (maybe owner) just intensified my sadness at such a special place being so poorly managed. Please return this place to what it once was or have the decency to sell to someone who will.
