It might sound odd for me to rate this place as its a soup place, and soup isnt really my thing. It was great, but the tomato pie is why I wanted to acknowledge this place. If you love soup, perfect, if you love a tomato pie even better!

Known for the soup, but their sandwiches are unreal! “The Boyfriend” may be the best sandwich in the city.

The best soup in the burgh. Also their BLT sandwich that was a special in the summer was LIFE. CHANGING. It was on homemade focaccia bread. They’re incredible with offering options for dietary restrictions. Any time I’ve gone there has always been a vegetarian and a vegan soup on the weekly menu. Highly highly recommend! Pictured is the BLT, pastina soup, and vegan mushroom soup.

The most perfect lunch spot in Bloomfield. Come for a cozy community atmosphere, delicious sandwiches, and incredible soups. I would go here every day if I could.

Best. Soup. In. Pittsburgh. There’s something for everyone here — from the rich, creamy ones to lighter options like homemade chicken and vegetable broth made with great ingredients. Every month she releases a new menu, and you must try the tomato pie — it’s incredible. The only downside? No delivery. Otherwise, I’d definitely order way more often!

I’ve been buying soups since 2021 when everything was sold out of mayfly market. The most dependable soups ever and I still crave it all the way from Los Angeles where I live now!

Cute cafe style with absolutely phenomenal food. The Boyfriend is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Pittsburgh. The Italian Wedding Hoagie was also amazing, the bread, meatballs and greens being cooked to perfection. We’ve been wanting to check this place out and we are so happy we did!!

Delicious foods, I got the potatoes leek and “boyfriend” sandwich. You need to come visit.

Even though there was a line it was fast, the only caveat is there isn’t a lot of seating so prepare to take away. But if you get a seat everyone’s friendly sharing space and it’s a great atmosphere. Will be back asap.

Had the most amazing pastina soup and focaccia today and then a fantastic toffee chocolate chunk cookie that was the perfect ratio of crisp and chewy. 10/10 perfect lunch on a fall day!
