This place is worth the drive, especially if you’re in the Pittsburgh area. On a whim, decided to take a drive to explore this bakery. The offerings were excellent, shelves were full of bread/English muffins/cookies/etc. While checking out, decided to also grab a cinnamon roll and loaded French toast to split. These two items alone were incredible, especially the French toast. The cream cheese and berry compote were divine. So divine, I’m leaving a review from the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and put this on your list to try!!

Stopped by at random and I am SO GLAD we did!!! Such a cute business with delicious offerings and a comforting atmosphere. We got a loaf of their asiago bread we've devoured in nearly a day (with their garlic butter on top) and their cinnamon rolls are my new favorite thing; the cream cheese frosting is divine. The staff are so sweet too. We will be regulars here!

Amazing Fabulous bakery! They helped me put a gift bag together for a co-worker, and it is so thoughtfully lovingly prepared. They included a fresh loaf, sourdough muffins, honey, oil, delicious jam, and a fabulous shirt. What a great way to celebrate a friend. I can’t wait to see her face in awe of such beautiful provisions. Thank you so much! Another one bites the crust 😂💕😊

This was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had in my life. Can't wait to try the rest of the stuff we bought!

Only purchased 2 cupcakes. Cake was o.k. but the whipped cream {?} frosting wasn't good. I was hoping for a butter cream frosting. Will have to try something else. Nice place though.

Very very good fresh baked breads and pastries. Miss the cafe. But I'll take the new place because it's a lot closer to home. 🙂

Went to check them out and boy they where even better than i expected. I only got some english muffins but they where the best additions to my breakfast for dinner. Even just as a snack with butter and honey. I recommend people to go check them out they are so friendly too! Cant wait to come back and try more. Homemade and local is the best!

Everything from Brown Bear is delicious - the breakfast sandwich, sourdough English muffins, breads, you name it it's delicious. Enjoy stopping by when I'm in town. Give them a try if you are looking for a locally owned and operated bakery.

The employees of this bakery are the absolute nicest, and were super willing to offer up their sourdough tips! I appreciate it so much! And their Asiago bread? Delightful! Will hopefully be back to try more soon! 😊

We used the online ordering option for a girls get together and everything was so delicious! There was one little glitch in the online ordering hours and my husband showed up an hour early but they were so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed! 10/10 stars!!! 🌟
