Bubble Bee @ South Hills Village

Just left the restaurant. Both employees working did not practice food safe practices. Neither employee washed their hands before preparing my dish and one employee sneezed on the utensils that were going to be used to mix my drink. One of the employees was an employee I had a previous interaction with at the Subway next door who refused to let me speak to her manager when she issued incorrect information and showed extreme unprofessionalism. Unsurprisingly, she and her fellow employee both displayed a lack of good customer service and a lack of food safety. Neither employee was kind, sanitary, present when we waited to order, and there were personal belongings around the open kitchen area. Both employees had phones out on counters, one employee was on their phone with her earbuds in while she was making my drink. Truly the worst customer service experience I’ve had in a while. As a former food service employee & manager, this is a disaster. I wish I could leave negative stars, speak to a real manager, and get a full refund. This is a health hazard.

Staff is literally so rude and off-putting every time I go here. They really give off the vibe that even existing in their space is rude. I love bubble tea but it really puts me off from wanting to go here. This has been my experience all 15+ times.

Amazing! I ordered the strawberry refresher with strawberry popping boba and it was beyond delicious! The service was very fast and my server, Yuna, was very patient and helpful. 10/10, would recommend!

I placed an order through Door Dash to have my first ever Milk Tea and Matcha donuts. They unfortunately didnt have the sepcific kind i had and wrote a letter with the replacements, which was AMAZING customer service!!! I unfortunately cant stand Dark Chocolate, which was one of the replacements they gave, but the texture was still amazing and everything was 8/10 or 10/10!

Apparently LESS ICE means fill the cup 3/4 full of ice.?

I was in Pittsburgh for one night and came here twice! I had the coconut milk tea and I loved it. The drink was amazing, the people were so nice, and the inside of the shop was so cute and bright and clean! I loved coming here and I can't wait to come back. I really recommend the coconut milk tea!

I love this place! They have TONS of options to choose from and all the drinks look amazing! Both times I have gone there I have had speedy service and have received good tasting drinks! Definitely should check it out!

I ordered taro milk tea. It is usually my go-to for first time boba tasting, that way I can compare. The taro is from powder, so there is no pureed taro included in the drink, which I preferred. The boba are chewy and the taste of the milk tea is pretty delicious. The young lady getting our order is friendly and helpful, and it didn't take too long for them to prepare 4 drinks. We would definitely go back.

Experience has been so-so here. When they get the drinks right, they're pretty dang good. But often times they will get the drinks wrong, and when you bring it up to them they'll tell you "that's how it's supposed to be" as if you've never had boba before anywhere else.
