I heard trying out Burgatory is an absolute must when in Pittsburgh and it's very true! I loved everything I tried. I ordered the Wicked Wings with a side of blue cheese dressing, a custom burger with a side of fries and for dessert, the Salted Nutella Crunch milkshake. The wings had a wonderful spicy kick to them and the dressing was also delicious and not too overwhelming. The burger was indeed one of the best burgers I've tried and the milkshake was rich and such a delicious delight! The restaurant is situated at a popular Downtown area, with a cool atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. The only downside which is not related to the restaurant is that parking was extremely difficult to find as all nearby parking options were full. Thank you! 😋

Food is ok, doesn't live up to the hype. However each time I've ordered here, I received something I did not think I was ordering. It feels like the menu is lying to you. I chose the option to get a sunny side egg on my loaded fries and I got a little tub of gray hard boiled egg bits. I ordered a chicken sandwich and got a tasteless ground chicken patty. They charge $2+ extra for fries and you barely get any. They don't fill the cup on shakes. Don't recommend.

It pains me to write this review, but our service and order accuracy experience at this establishment was simply abhorrent and beyond the pale.
The wait staff communicated poorly and without clarity throughout, recurrently delaying the arrival time of our food in a rude and dismissive manner. Then, when our food arrived, much to our surprise (sarcasm), the order was completely wrong, missing integral elements of our burgers and sides across the board. True to form, our waiter was dismissive about these errors, and of course, added them to the final check. Misery loves company, amiright?
Not only will we not go to Burgatory again, but I cannot recall a more uninviting dining experience than this—with my 90+ reviews as proof.

The Pale Ale Onion Rings deserve a special shoutout—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the first place where the onions didn’t slide out on the first bite! It’s the little things like this that make a big difference.

hostess was extremely rude. restaurant was completly empty at 6pm and she was mad cuz she had to set a table up for 5 ppl. unwelcoming and just seemed mad that people were there. which is wierd because a hostess should be inviting and welcoming to guests. we didnt even sit, we left before sitting because she was so rude. we asked for a booth and she said "yall wont fit" when my sister went to the table she was setting up just to put her coat down, hostess says "im NOT done setting up yet". thats when i said "lets get outta here" we went to bar louie next door and it was an amazing experience. go to bar louie next door!
