First time at Burgatory. I am now a fanboy of this place. First of all our server, Stephenie, is probably the greatest human being in the entire world. Not only was she perfect in her job rumor is she is secretly working on world peace and a cure for cancer. The burgers were amazing and the cost beyond reasonable. Let's get back to the amazing Stephenie, she recommended the perfect beer to go with my perfect burger. Burgatory needs to understand that without Stephenie they are a burger joint. Seriously, got to Burgartory in McCandless and demand to have Stephenie wait on you.

Burgers from the menu were ok. Good chunk of meat, but overall less juicy than expected. Bread buns were pretty dry. Somehow I have better memory about BigMac taste than Meat your Maker signature burger at this place. Oh, and chips or French fries are super fried. Not my choice.

One of the strangest and most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had. We sat at the bar, and the bartender — Summer — immediately launched into a full autobiography the moment we made eye contact. I’m talking every irrelevant detail of her personal life, rapid-fire, like she was auditioning for a reality show confessional.
Then out of nowhere, she flipped like a bad light switch. The oversharing stopped and she instantly turned rude, dismissive, and weirdly combative — as if us simply existing had suddenly become an inconvenience. The personality shift was so sudden and so extreme that it honestly felt like we were interrupting some internal drama she had going on with herself.
Whatever was going on with her, it had nothing to do with providing actual service. She was chaotic, unprofessional, and completely unable to maintain even basic consistency from one minute to the next. Sitting at the bar felt less like dining and more like being trapped in someone else’s emotional roller coaster with no seatbelt.
We won’t be sitting at the bar or in her section ever again. Absolutely bizarre behavior and one of the most unprofessional service experiences I’ve ever witnessed.

I told my brother that I would take him anywhere he wanted to eat and he picked this spot for his birthday dinner. He really enjoyed it!! He had the elk BBQ burger with the baked beans and he said they were delicious. I got the strawberry pretzel salad milkshake. It was fantastic!! If you like jello pretzel salad, you would love that shake. The dry aged wagyu burger....amazing!! Skylar was our server. Excellent customer service!! She checked on us periodically which I appreciated. I have been to other Burgatory locations and I must say that the McCandless Crossing location is my new favorite!! I will definitely go back!!
