Yikes. Here's the deal: I LOVE Burghers. I frequent the Lawrenceville one all the time. I thought it would be a good idea to check out Millvale. Mistake. Just got to Lawrenceville.

The ordering system is ridiculously disorganized. We got all of our food before even receiving drinks. We had to ASK for our drinks. I tipped 20 percent and literally We didnt have a waitress or waiter.

Look, I understand you think this is a good system, but it's not. I had to pay and tip before I even talked to an actual employee. It was just wild. Never again.

While the food was good, I can't say that I considered it good value for money. I wasn't sure what the size situation was so I didn't pay the upcharge to go from mini to normal, because surely they aren't charging me $13.50 for a child-sized chicken sandwich, right? That's a regular entree price for enough food to leave hungry, right? Well, that was my mistake, but it's thankfully one I only have to make once.

Was a little unsure about going here for Oktoberfest. It seemsclike more of a corporate brewery, but I'm glad I did.

The beer is really good, and the food was great as well. Probably the best potato pancakes I've had! (Tbf, I'm not a huge fan of potato pancakes, but these were good.) The gravy and mustard was very authentic and delicious, the curry ketchup was a nice touch for their fries.

It's a big open space, with plenty of seating. Very clean and welcoming. Parking is typica for the area, small lot and street parking, but plenty of on street parking mid day weekend when we came.

(Sorry, no pics of food, I was hungry!)

The only small annoyance was some newer staff that weren't quite up to speed, but still friendly and accommodating, and this seems to be the rule, not the exception these days, so be patient, we're all in this together!

Can't wait to come back and try their burgers!

With four locations across the city 📍, Burghers has carved out a reputation for delicious smash burgers and craft beers!!! ✨✨✨The Millville location is the newest and by far the coolest—it’s got a laid-back, yet modern vibe, with the added bonus of brewing their own beer right on-site.🙌🏽
I went with the Pittsburgh Smashburger, and it was a total game-changer. This burger comes stacked with cheddar, crispy onions, tangy pickles, creamy coleslaw, and crispy fries all drizzled in a house-made burgher sauce. 🍔 Every bite was packed with flavor, and the combination of textures was spot-on. Highly recommend it if you're in the mood for something hearty and satisfying.
Beyond the burgers, they also nails comfort food staples like mac & cheese and pierogies, giving you a great balance of flavors if you’re in the mood for something a little different. 🤌🏽The craft beer selection is top-notch, with something for every taste, making it the perfect pairing for their smash burgers.🍺
All in all, Burghers is a must-visit. The food is fantastic, the beer is cold, and the atmosphere is relaxed but fun. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual meal or just looking to grab a drink with friends, this place has you covered.

Love the mini smash burger option - it is still plenty of food if you are looking for a smaller bite!

Best brewery in town. Easy. Try the 1890! You won’t regret it

I strongly suggest you watch them pour your beer. I witnessed the manager clear the foam from my glass with her finger. Then I waited about twenty minutes for a refill because they couldn't seem to get a proper pour out of the tap. It was mind boggling to watch, like they had no clue as to what they were doing. I've been there three times and every time the grilled cheese has been different. Ridiculous! Please, somebody train the staff! I gave them three chances and it got worse every time. I would love to see this place succeed but it is not on that path. Absolutely horrible service. TRAIN YOUR STAFF AND SUPERVISE!
Edit: I messaged them on Facebook and got a fantastic response. They really do care and are working on it.

Had our son's 30th birthday party there. Could not have asked for better service, food and beer!

Burghers came highly recommended to me by a local store. We were NOT disappointed!! The smash burgers were so delicious. The service we got from Bree and Jacob was amazing. Chrissy and TiVo were friendly as well. Gluten free Friendly and dedicated fryer is super important and they were more than accommodating. Great stop in the burgh’ for a delicious meal! Thanks everyone ❤️🍔

4.5 stars for vegan options & employee vibes, wish you had a sour beer option tho 🧡

The food is great but service sucked. We sat at bar Saturday 7.12 in afternoon, the bartender just stood there looking at us. No " Hi" no nothing. It took us awhile to order what beer we wanted she didn't assist with helping us find a brew. Yinz need to step it up. A Bartender in my opinion should be friendly welcome you there or at least recognize I'm there. It wasn't busy!. Food was great 👍 Beer we picked was 👍

Honestly- just some of the best beer and amazing smash burgers. This is the most consistently amazing brewery with food and drink. It helps they don’t have a food truck which is what screws some breweries over- more likely to go somewhere with a truck we like. Smash burgers for life.
