The restaurant was so cute and the staff was amazing. I had the Moules Frites and mussels were a tad overcooked but the frites were undercooked. The waitress was very kind and took the frites off the bill. The wine list was great as were the sauerkraut balls.
We went for Sunday brunch. The Shakshuka was excellent. It came out smoking hot and was delicious with just a hint of spice. I love the crumpets, which are a bit different but so tasty and tender. My husband had the brunch burger, which was also excellent. Add to that great coffee. We left happy and satisfied.
Everything about this was amazing. Pickled shrimp, milk bread, pierogie plate, goose egg flan—all perfection!!
Always wonderful. Good & drink always very good. Shout out to Tim, who always warmly welcomes us. Staff is great. So happy to have Butterjoint in our neighborhood.
As always, it was a wonderful experience to dine at Butterjoint. From the moment we entered and were greeted like royalty, everything was exceptional - food, service, atmosphere.
Small menu but with big flavor. Slightly upscale. A little pricey. Alcohol available, need I say more?

This charming spot offers a cozy atmosphere with great vibes and food. We tried the Butterjoint Burger—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and topped with a rich, velvety sauce—and the pulled goat. The service was friendly, though it’s on the pricier side. Perfect for a relaxed, memorable meal.

It was pretty good. Everyone seemed to like their food with the exception of the sauerkraut balls, which we didn't care for. Staff was friendly, and atmosphere was chill and welcoming.
Was very disappointed with the menu choices.
Children items that were not there to say , only two items .
My burger was tasteless and way over price.
With the party of eight, it was not what I expected as a table to sit at .
The service was great . The waitress could not do enough for us . The chocolate cake dessert was very dry , sorry but just was not please with my meal

Basic decor, but the atmosphere, wonderful welcome and service of staff, and great food (rachlette, steak tartare, salad, pulled goat bun) makes this an absolute must to visit. Shout out to Keith, our server, who went over and above to make our visit extraordinary 🙌

Had a great dinner at Butterjoint. Brought my parents, who are a bit picky, and they loved it! We had perogies, a burger, raclette, and sauerkraut balls. All of it was delicious- tried the vinegar pie with reservations. It was so good! I would highly recommend based on the food, and the service was excellent too.

I visited my son at Pitt and we decided to dine here. The menu is very eclectic. I had goat and my son had a burger. The food was delicious. Our waiter was exceptional. You could tell he was a foodie, and gave excellent descriptive feedback as to the different flavors in each dish. I'd definitely go back.

This should be such a fun place. Interesting menu and charming digs. But on Pitt family weekend lunchtime, when the restaurant isn’t very busy, they fell flat on service. Oh, you’d like coffee with your lunch? Here’s a cold cup from the bottom of the old pot. We’re brewing a new pot for you…only we won’t come back and give it to you. Need a server? He’s disappeared for 20 minutes multiple times. The harried manager scrambles around to try and make things up to the unhappy guests, promises free desserts, then takes so long to come back that people like us finally give up and hail someone to just bring us a check so we can leave. Super disappointing service, food was fine, if unremarkable.
