delightful, charming and authentically French fresh
Wonderful experience! A hidden gem. The backyard walled garden was intimate and romantic. All the dishes we got were delicious and so unique!
The pork chop (smoked and seasoned with numerous north African spices) was something unlike we've ever had. It was an explosion of flavor.
The service was more European style, not rushed and each item was brought out on its own.

It is nice to go to a fine restaurant where you can talk and be heard without a lot of noise. The food was excellent, and the service was prompt and efficient. This is a BYOB place, so you can’t complain about the wine list. The only glitch I encountered was that they do not accept debit or credit cards. So be prepared to bring cash or use your Venmo account.

The chef has thoughtful, clever pairings that showcase both creativity and balance — each dish is designed to surprise without overwhelming. Who would have watched beets, pork and apples together - slam dunk! It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the flavors and the presentation. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The staff is highly interactive and interested in your visit. The outside courtyard with pond made for a beautifully intimate wedding ceremony with best food ever at a wedding. A++

I’m from the Washington DC area originally from Pittsburgh. I have lived abroad and tasted many cuisine. This is by far the BEST restaurant I have been to. The food was exquisite!!!! Just phenomenal.
A hidden gem in Southside of Pitt. Flavorful dishes curated by the chef who has created a menu and atmosphere that invites community to share togetherness. The quality of food and the presentation is in line with the best restaurants in any city. The courtyard is tranquil, and the staff are incredibly kind.
The wild mushroom consumme soup was a great start to a wonderful dining experience. The spinach dip, pork tenderloin crostini and focaccia with house made Boursin were all excellent staters. The lamb pot pie and meatballs were also awesome. This non pretentious restaurant does not look like much from the outside but the backyard dining area is very relaxing. $2 corkage fee and $35 bottles of wine add to a great evening. Service was super friendly and attentive. One of the best restaurant we have dined ever!
Literally my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh for as long as it's been open!!! Service is outstanding, the atmosphere is very simple and friendly and the chef has a way with food that is uncanny. Should have left a review here many years before now but there is no where else more consistently impressive and practical for dinner or a private party.

It was our first time experiencing the intimate ambiance and incredibly friendly yet assertive staff, and we were thoroughly impressed. Invited by friends before a show at the City Theatre, we were delighted by the diverse menu options, but the evening specials sealed the deal on our choices.
A creative twist on spinach dip left us tempted to lick the plate, and the perfectly prepared short ribs served over creamy polenta were simply unforgettable. Their innovative use of Venmo for payment is both convenient and clever—more places should adopt this approach!
The outdoor patio looks incredibly inviting, and we can’t wait to return on a warm evening to enjoy it. We’re already looking forward to satisfying our cravings for delicious entrees and experiencing their attentive service once again.

The chef and owner of this unpretentious little restaurant combines ingredients in the most creative way to make delicious dishes the likes of which are rarely experienced. We will be back and I urge you to go and try it.

lovely food and amazing, friendly, understanding staff! Unique dishes that are flavorful with great portion sizing. The small plates are great for sharing. Lovely ambience as well both indoors and the outdoor patio. One of the best restaurants I have been to in Pittsburgh. I am vegetarian and there are plenty of options although I would be excited to see more veggie entrees :-)
