Second visit: ordered Alaska crepe, Walnut St crepe and Ottawa. Really love the savory salmon and the luscious crepe with copious walnuts with syrup and white chocolate, definitely the MVP of their crepe!

Very cute cafe. Service was quick and our server was very nice. Food was great, the avocado toast was AMAZING!

Cafe Moulin is a cute breakfast spot in Shadyside. I tried the Bristol crepe, and my friend had the Liege Waffle Toast. Both were good, but lacked on the flavor side. The quantity of food was okay for the price, but the quality fell short for me. Also, buyer be ware, this place does not do substitutions except for a $2+ up charge. Like adding tomato to an omelette or swapping a side salad for fruit. This was a cute place to check off of my Walnut St bucket list, but it's not one I am eager to return to.

I've actually never had an actual crepe before, so when I heard really good things about the crepes from this cute little cafe in Shadyside, Pittsburgh, I decided to come check it out for myself. I came here on a Sunday around 11AM for brunch. The wait time was over 30 minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait. Here's what I tried: Super Belgium (a sweet crepe): * Filled with belgium cookie spread & dark chocolate; topped with strawberries & bananas; and comes with a side of cream * The belgium cookie spread tasted like biscoff cookies but in liquid form -- it was sooo smooth and yummy * The cookie spread and dark chocolate was warm & smooth and paired so well with crepe and fruit -- it melted in my mouth so well and was so satisfying * Crepes were thin & had such a nice, soft texture * A bit too sweet and filling to finish the whole thing alone, so I recommend sharing with someone else! Alaska (a savory crepe): * Filled with spinach, pesto, & herbed cream; topped with smoked salmon; comes with a side of salad and I added avocado on the side for an additional $3 * The combination of everything together was so flavorful and yummy & the avocado just topped everything off...A literal chef's kiss, I don't even know how to explain in words, you just have to try it for yourself * If I had to choose...I'd say I liked this crepe more than the Super Belgium, because I prefer savory items Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice: * OMG this was the best orange juice I've ever tasted. YOU MUST TRY IT. I'm literally drooling dreaming of drinking that OJ right now * Not sure how they managed to get oranges that were that sweet, but it was amazing * I only like orange juice that's freshly squeezed because I don't like the added sugars and bitter artificial taste in the non-freshly squeezed OJs, so I was so happy to find out they have a juicer here I am definitely coming back to try all the other variety of crepes they have!

Was here once before and wasn't great but we thought we'd give them another chance since we live down the street and it's convenient. Waited 30 minutes for a table and placed our order right away. Crepes were tasteless and they never came to check on us or fill our water or tea. We were there with a friend visiting and as soon as they cleared the plates we were asked to leave so they can fill the table with another paying customer. Never been kicked out of a restaurant before and was shocked. Won't be back

Dino Cuturic, mate, I think you're the one doing the screeching in the comments. Calm down. Firstly, if you took a basic middle school physics class, you would realize the human voice doesnt have a high enough frequency to shatter a thick water glass (unless u were drinking water in a wine glass), your concerns were useless ;) Oh, and I do understand sarcasm.Anyways Ive deleted my comment because well, I really dont care, I'll let you have your 5 star rating back Tahsin ;), and Google will probably take down your descriptive story telling comments because they're deemed irrelevant. Also just in case you didn't realize Dino, its almost verbal bullying, using the words you used (banshee). I ain't calling you out personally dude, you gotta chill. You're the one screeching here. Also pls dont call me lady, it makes me feel old when I'm not even 21.Anyways, have a good easter, if you celebrate it. Of course I will delete this comment if you take down yours too, I mean Google will eventually take all these comments down anyways since its not relevant to the busines, since I removed the original review and yall are making it personal. If not, guess who's the real vindictive person, as yall say in your comments, (Hint : its not me, because I peacefully took down my comment on the disrespectful service, as I might have over exaggerated it ;) )

Yo, I'm sitting with my fiancee eating a crepe when I hear a shrill banshee screeching. Got worried my water glass would explode. This lady, Anya Bindra (whose review is here) came in super demanding and entitled basically asking for special treatment. Ignore her review, please. If you aren't planning to demand seating at a large table for yourself and NO ONE else at peak business times all whilst screeching about it, you'll have a good experience. Crepes were delicious, btw.

Please ignore Anya Bindra's review. It is an unfair description of the events that transpired. My fiance and I were sitting at the counter and saw the entire interaction. She rudely accused the staff of denying her seating. And when the staff tried to calmly explain to her that she could sit at the counter or wait for a smaller table to open up, she kept shouting and demanding to know why she wasn't allowed to sit at a larger table all by herself. It was during a high business hour, and the staff was trying to explain that it is their policy not to seat one person at a table meant for 4-6 people, and they again offered her the option to sit at the counter or wait for a smaller table to open up, but she continued to raise her voice disrespectfully at the staff at which point the staff asked her not to yell and she stormed off saying she will give the place a bad review.I usually don't give reviews, but we were so shocked by her rudeness and entitlement, that we didn't think it fair for the establishment to face her wrath of an unjust and overtly vindictive review.Overall, food is delicious, staff is friendly, and service was fast. Only negative was Anya ruining a few minutes of our lovely experience with her rude and demeaning behavior towards the staff.
