Our first time here, stopped for a coffee and to use the restroom ( lol) saw the menu and had to order!
The blueberry ricotta pancakes melt in your mouth so so good!
The potatoes seasoned and cooked to perfection! The bacon was also perfectly done with a nice smoky, not salty taste!
Jason was so friendly and attentive! He welcomed us back again to try lunch( Ruebens )
Can’t wait to go back!

We had a great meal at Cafe Raymond. They were easily able to accommodate gluten free also. The food was fresh, even the gf bread held up well and the potatoes were yummy!

Cafe Raymond is a Strip District staple, serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily! They use local, handmade, and fresh ingredients, taking pride in partnering with local vendors, farmers, artisans, and the hands that prepare each dish. Every plate reflects a commitment to tradition, freshness, and honest flavor.
I started with a peach Bellini and was so torn between breakfast and lunch—but ultimately went the lunch route. Honestly, all the sandwiches sounded AMAZING. I ordered the grilled corned beef Reuben and the rare roast beef, and both were outstanding. Sandwiches come with seasoned potatoes that are absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.
The space offers downstairs dining and bar seating, plus an upstairs area with additional seating—and in nice weather, an upper deck with great Strip District views. The staff is sweet, knowledgeable, and super helpful when it comes to questions or recommendations.
Highly recommend making this a stop the next time you’re in the Strip District!

My husband and kids ate upstairs at Cafe Raymond last Saturday around 11:30 am. It was pretty busy and they told us it was going to be a 45 minute wait. Better wait time than the other restaurants in the area so we just shopped while we waited. The host took us upstairs and we were greeted by Jason. Larger groups can be a lot, but he handled everything really smoothly. He was friendly, checked in on us at the right times, and kept things moving without making us feel rushed.
Our drinks stayed full, the food came out delicious (especially the special French toast), and he made sure everyone got what they needed. Overall our experience was delightful and the whole lunch was enjoyable. If you’re eating upstairs, definitely hope you get him, he did an awesome job with our table. We love Cafe Raymond and will be returning!!!!

I am a semi-regular at Cafe Raymond, and I came here to express what a pleasant experience I've been having there recently.

This is a busy place, but I am often impressed to be seated in such a reasonably short time by a hostess. Within moments I am served and checked on attentively by the front bar server, whom if I remember correctly is named Mya. Her energy is wonderful and one of the reasons I return, along with the quality of the food.

As for the food, I almost exclusively get the brisket hash, as it offers a good amount of protein to carbs for breakfast, in addition to being delicious. The coffee is always fresh and hot, and I can't make it halfway through a cup before I'm offered a refill.

This is an excellent breakfast spot in Pittsburgh. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs a reality check. Then again, it's impossible to make some people happy.

We eat at Cafe Raymond frequently. The food is amazing, consistently great tasting, and the service is always great. We use Cafe Raymond for catering at our office also and everyone loves their food. Adriana and her husband are fantastic owners and pay attention to details like it’s their own home. And Amaya in particular is always friendly, attentive, and concerned about our experience at the cafe. Breakfast or lunch - we love this place!!!

I had a delightful brunch here partially because of our server Amaya. She was attentive, friendly and made sure everything was perfect. The food was great as well. Best breakfast and service in the Strip.

I am a regular here and come to eat brunch at the bar all the time. Amaya is almost always my bartender/server and she is always very friendly and going out of her way to make sure I have a great meal. The guy’s breakfast with the seasoned potatoes and blueberry pancakes are unbeatable.

This was a nice little place in the Strip District we stopped by while visiting Pittsburgh. It came highly recommended by a friend from the area who was able to join us for this brunch. We had to wait about 45 minutes on a Sunday, but it was worth it. They text you when your table is ready, so I recommend walking around to do some shopping while you wait for your table. We got seated upstairs, which was pretty spacious and less noisy, but still very eclectically decorated and comfortable. The food we ordered came out pretty quickly and was outstanding all around. The omelette was perfectly prepared and the home fries were uniquely cooked and very well seasoned. The blueberry ricotta pancakes were a big hit with our group. And to top it off, our server was super nice and attentive. Great visit all around!
