Medovik Honey Cake is an absolute delight from the first bite to the last. The layers are soft, light, and filled with rich honey flavor that melts in your mouth. It’s not too sweet, which makes it perfect with tea or coffee. Every bite feels fresh and homemade. The creamy filling balances the cake perfectly without feeling heavy. You can really taste the quality in each layer. I would happily order this again and again. Definitely one of the best desserts I’ve had from a Halal restaurant Banksville Rd.!!

Service is trash. Paid $22.46 via Apple Pay, but they said payment didn’t go through and wanted me to pay again. I showed proof of the charge, but instead of helping, they treated me like I was trying to scam them. It was embarrassing and frustrating. Hopefully they fix their system and train staff to handle payment issues better.

Ordered GrubHub while in Pittsburgh, wanting to try a new type of cuisine and ethnicity. SAMARKAND surpassed all expectations. Their to-go food, portion sizes and $$ were phenomenal. My step mom and I ordered the rolled Xonim dumplings, the Samsa, Labneh, Achichuk, Samarkand house bread and the .5lb of lamb chops. Everything was delicious, filling and flavorful! I HIGHLY recommend the Xonim and Samsa the most (the tomato garlic cause is a MUST try) The only mild complaint/change Id make is the lamb chops- they were so so- flavorful but tough and not much meat on the bone for a Carryout. They have so many other options for lamb or grilled meat I look forward to trying something new next time. Highly recommend- give them a try and support a local mom/pop restaurant doing unique, Uzbek food that is absolutely delicious, affordable and shareable.

I have always done Uber Eats Delivery orders from here so I would not be able to rate on the atmosphere. Food is generally very good however I wish they had way of labeling unavailable food in the Uber Eats app each day, because I keep ordering something that’s not available on the menu and we have to make adjustments each time . It’s especially hard when you work in a office with a set lunch times which causes delays. However they make up to me each time by giving me a substitute which is even better then my initial choice. I don’t agree with negative comments other people left . I believe it’s the competitor restaurants doing it to these innocent people .
