The food was pretty good!
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I came in with my child and was immediately met with a hostile, judgmental attitude from one of the female servers. From the start, it was obvious we were being looked down on because of how we looked.
I asked a very simple, reasonable question about whether there were French fries or any kid-friendly options. Instead of answering professionally, she became irritated, rude, and dismissive—and then had the nerve to tell us we could “go to another location.” That is not customer service. That is discrimination.
No restaurant has the right to treat customers this way, especially a parent and child. The behavior was humiliating, offensive, and completely unprovoked. This felt like clear racism and prejudice, and it made us feel unwelcome the entire time.
I will never step foot in this place again and strongly warn others to avoid it. Management should be ashamed for allowing staff like this to represent their business. If you value respect, basic decency, or fair treatment, take your money somewhere else.

A very beautiful cafe. It is right down the street from our Airbnb which is fitting for our visit here in Pittsburgh. We went for a breakfast, had iced chai tea, different kind of crepes for each of us. Both crepes and chai tea is really delicious!! The server was friendly and stayed on top of everything. The place itself is generous and we enjoyed the international favored decorations. Definitely highly recommended!

Very rude service. The cook was very rude and was already asking us for the plate before the meal was over. And this has happened twice. Will not recommend anyone this place

Café Mona La Bistro is a must-visit spot! I had their cheesesteak crepe and it is to die for, and paired with a Turkish coffee, it's a match made in heaven. The atmosphere is super cozy, with a European vibe that's perfect for a casual brunch or breakfast. Some others rave about their crepes, omelets, and sandwiches and I agree with them!

Though I only visited once—the visit was memorable and recommendable. Delicious, fresh ingredients, clean environment, reasonably priced for a couple.
