Capriotti's Sandwich Shop

Entered the restaurant at 5:10pm, and was told that they were only doing pickup orders. Posted closing hours were 7pm. This is why businesses are not lasting, never know if they are open, service and quality has dropped across the board.

Ordered a sandwich through app at 11:15 - shop confirmed and said its driver would deliver. 2 hours later, still not delivered. $28 order cancellation fee for a meal I never received. Called several times, no one picked up. Never again.

We got the 18 inch Philly Cheesesteak for 23 dollars. It was absolutely delicious but 5 inches of bread had no meat... we won't be ordering from them again, sadly.

It was my first time at Pittsburgh Caps. Got huge large sandwiches. Hot Bobbi, Capastrami, Chicken Philly. The Philly didnt have any veggies on it and was kinda dry chicken by the time we got to eat it. I will definitely add that next time. The other two sandwiches were fantastic, even as cold leftovers.

First time trying any Capriotti’s - glad I stopped in. The staff was incredibly nice and genuinely happy to serve you. The restaurant was super clean - only to be outdone by the sandwich (Capastrami) itself. I’d leave 6-stars if I could!

First time trying their subs and I will definitely go back any chance I get. The Bobbie, which is what they're known for is one of the best subs I've ever had

Capriotti's in my opinion is the best sub shop in Pittsburgh. I love their unique sandwiches and their salads are outstanding too. This is my go to place for catering.

I just don't get they hype, I thought this was supposed to be an amazing sandwich place. it was subpar at best, I would rather go to subway, they have better food, fresher bread, at half the price.

I eat the sandwiches here for lunch they're really good

Was excited capriottis came to pittsburgh after I've been going here for years in other states , however walked in today 1 person before me after person leaves i was never greeted just got stared at by one employee while another just looked at her phone instead of me and taking my order , I just walked out because employees obviously not too happy about waiting on customer smh

After going here a fair share of times, I can say that Capriotti's is a nice addition to Oakland and that their sandwiches are very tasty. They're a bit pricey (I always get a medium) but considering how filling and flavorful they are, that's something I can forgive. Interestingly, their house made sodas don't seem to be advertised on their website or online menu at all but they have very good black cherry soda! I think the only time my sandwich was somewhat underwhelming was when I had the chicken chipotle crunch sandwich, it wasn't bad but I didn't realize how small the chicken would be cut up.Also, one day I visited and they were flooded with online orders so of course they were busy and expectedly, I had to wait a while longer than normal for my food, but the employees were nice enough to let me have some chips for free while I waited. I'll keep this place on my roster for good restaurants in Oakland.

Easily the best sub I’ve had in a long time. I had the pastrami. Great portion of meat, flavor was fantastic. The place was clean and nice and the staff were great and very pleasant. Highly suggested

I live in one of the apartment units above this store and my bedroom is directly above the kitchen. Could you all just keep the music down whenever you are closing the shop. It’s past midnight and I can’t get no rest. Thanks, I’d appreciate it

Good sandwich but I wish they used Mancini's rolls.

Ok I was gonna use 1 word to describe this place but after I explain why then you'll understand. So when I walked in it was very clean. The restroom was also very clean . Now to the sandwiches. The Pastrami was out of bounds ! It was very good. Now to the meatball. Also very good . The Bread was the Best I've had anywhere. Yes it is that good ! Now to the employees..well the Young lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful . And the cooks made some killer sandwiches ! Man was that good !
