The food was phenomenal as were the cocktails. We had excellent service from the host to the server. I can't say enough good things about this spot.
Food and drinks were great, service was wonderful, Carmella was super kind and gracious in speaking with my elderly parents, who also loved their meals!
Delicious food albeit a smaller menu with limited options. Really enjoyed the banana old fashioned. Hostess sat us at a very awkward round table that consisted of a sort of center console and a small table top for our party of 4. I requested to be moved which thankfully we were. Beautiful atmosphere. Loved the decor. Our server Ben was lovely.
What a fun spot! Great people. Abby was adorable, so accommodating. The meatloaf was great. The pasta came out a little cold, but very tasty.
As always, the food was amazing, service impeccable, and the ambience one of the best in the area. Love this place!
This was a midweek dinner visit. Dining area was unique with stained glass skylights and the feel of a medieval castle interior. The food was very good and the mixed drinks were good also. The red wine came way too cold, which muted the taste considerably.
We were out of ideas on where to go for our anniversary when our son mentioned that he did Valentine's Day at Carmella's and really liked it. So we figured we'd try it. Happily, we had good food, good service, and a very nice evening!
Always love the setting at Carmella's. First time having the cookie skillet and we will be back for another. Maybe tomorrow-it's that good!
Tabatha was outstanding and made our dinner special along with the great food and awesome manhattans. We'll be back.
Carmella's is fantastic. Don't pass this place by and think there is something better down the road. It is the jewel of East Carson and the city as well. The 4 of us came to Pittsburgh for a concert and stayed in the area. Had their Sunday brunch which was a gourmet 10 out of 10. We eat out alot and Carmella's gave me faith in the restaurant industry again. Food was excellent and creative. Service was the best. Their menu covered all basis. We are taking the 2 hour drive back to Carson Street this summer since we love the area. It will include a dinner at Carmella's as well...thank you for making our weekend in the city very special.

We were visiting our son in in Pittsburgh. We found Carmela‘s on open table and just chanced going there. It was such a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the live music was the cherry on top! Thank you for making our visit to Pittsburgh so memorable!
Such a wonderful brunch!! Excellent and attentive service and the food and drinks were amazing. Highly recommend!!!!!
Fantastic selection of drinks, unique food options, a little on the pricey side, but worth it. Cool vibes and a great waitstaff.
We went to Carmella's for Mother's Day !! We had a special menu , which was fine , however they ran out of a few items - which was disappointing!! I wished we could have ordered off the regular menu then !! But everything was delicious!! Loved the atmosphere- just a really fun place !! I will come back to try it again !! 💗
I took my mom and daughter for lunch/dinner (3PM reservation). We were seated immediately and greeted well. It was very clean and moderately loud. The specials were explained and the carafe of Mimosas was definitely worth the money. The food was not a delay. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I enjoyed the food. I will definitely go again.
