We looked for a great place to eat, in close proximity to our hotel. Searching the internet, Carmody's Grille seemed to stick out for us! My French Dip Sandwich was excellent, as was the Grilled Cheese with bacon! The staff made us feel at home, and Emily went above and beyond to make our visit great, including charging our dead phone! Thank you Emily!

Marly(sp?) took care of our group of four friends today. Impeccable service. Shared a fried zucchini app and got a fish sandwich for myself with a couple good ipa’s. The fish on the large Mancini hoagie bun was breaded and fried to GBD and had good crunch. Ordered the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream for dessert just because. Nice job folks

I went here with my fiancé. We both had the French dip. The filling was very good, au jus, and the hoagie it comes in is also very good. Our server was also very good. We will definitely go back.

Reuben sandwich and fresh cut fries were excellent! Fried shrimp dinner for price was pitiful!

We had a Business association meeting on the second floor. The food was excellent. The bartender was great and very attentive, and the establishment itself was very accommodating.

Our waitress was wonderful. Their brown butter cake is a can't miss, it was probably one of the best cakes I've ever had. Prices were super reasonable. Def a good stop

The food, service and atmosphere was great. However, the parking was a bit difficult. We had the Spiced Fall Martini and it was the best. Fried pickles were sooo good. My husband had the French dip and loved it. I had the smother chicken and loved it, but I like mustard and there was a lot in the dish. Oh my husband had the Turtle soup and loved it. I had the Wedding soup and it was very good. The only drawback was the kitchen was backed up. We waited 45 minutes for our dinners, although the fall martinis keep me satisfied. It was the best drink I ever had. Our server was very pleasant. Oh 50 to 100 is for 2
Hahaha I went back a 2nd night. The chicken and waffles were off the chart. It was literally the most unique chicken and waffles. The waffle was superb. It had a crispy sweet crunch and should be a dish on their menu. The chicken was perfection with a savory butter honey mustard sauce that left a silky butter taste in your mouth. Omg get this get this get this.

Love this place. The fried zucchini and fish sandwich are the best in Pittsburgh. Everything else I've tried is also excellent.
