Great people, always a fun time. Neighborhood bar. They've been building a huge deck to sit outside and I've heard rumors kitchen may open up, so in the future there may be food served there. In the meantime you can get a really delicious beef hotdog and a bag of chips/pretzels ???

Wow what a great place! Spent two nights here with family. So much history and charm wrapped up in one bed and breakfast. Each room offered its own charm, comfortable beds, and private bath (charming in their own right!). Fireplaces in each room added ambiance and warmth. The Inn owners, Clare and Bob, served breaffast fit for a king, were friendly but not invasive of one's personal space and freely offered tips on where to go, eat or explore. We enjoyed our time exploring each room of the Inn discovering one antique after another carefully blended into the living space. Extremely clean and welcoming, with Bob even offering up his personal parking space to accommodate my big truck. Very highly recommend spending time at the Brownsville Road House. Planning on coming back for Easter!
The level of service was top notch. Bob was so friendly and open to speaking with guests throughout their stay. There is so much to look at in the house and there is a story behind everything. Do your research about the house before staying to truly appreciate it. I would recommend watching season 8 episode 14 of “A Haunting” and reading “The Demon of Brownsville Road” before staying too. There is a lot to do in the area & Bob can definitely make great recommendations. Claire made breakfast & the potatoes were delicious! The service was absolutely incredible & guests are definitely made to feel welcome. Would highly recommend!
The hosts Claire and Bob are very friendly and welcoming. The house and rooms are very spacious and full of character. The room we stayed in was Nautical themed and had a large bathtub. The breakfast was very tasty. Would highly recommend!
Nice calm place depending on the day
We spent three nights and everything was top notch. The house is quiet and the neighborhood is good although the main road can get busy. Off street parking and the breakfast in the morning were big winners for us. You will be surprised at the level of service provided by Bob and Claire. The linens, paper products and furniture are all top grade and very comfortable. The house is a Revolutionary/Civil war buffs dream come true. It is like a museum inside. It is also super white glove clean and well maintained for a 113 year old home. It is easy to access the rest of the city from this location especially the South Hills area. Lots of things to see and local food to eat in the immediate area. Bob and Claire are very friendly and Bob knows the city very well so he can direct you to any attraction you might want to see. We go to the area for friends and family and this will be our homebase from now on.
