The food is all great, very fresh, and tastes excellent. The prices are also very reasonable, and the portions are generous—I'll definitely be back!

First time, 10/10 food and service. Excited to come back and share this incredible place with others. How lucky we are to have this place nearby! My partner and I came for a date night wanting to try Uzbek cuisine (we had 0 clue what to expect), we were not disappointed. SO GOOD.

First time eating at an Uzbeki restaurant and I will absolutely be back.
Delicious, comforting food cooked to perfection. Handmade noodles and broth and flaky pastries that were steamy inside. There are two dining areas - one located near the kitchen/checkout and another in the neighboring building that is accessible by an outside door. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable which meant we were able to try a number of dishes.
Loved it!

Chaykhana Pittsburgh is a nice and cozy Uzbek restaurant offering flavorful, authentic dishes. Not everyday do you come across Uzbek food, so I took a short detour during my trip to stop here, and I was not disappointed. Having been to Uzbekistan, the food is genuinely authentic and well-seasoned. Also comes with fair portions and very good pricing. Also the menu comes with photos of each dish for folks who don't know what things are, and communication is definitely not an issue since we are able to communicate in English, Uzbek, and/or Russian. Definitely coming back next time around. 5/5

Ridiculously good. Went there for a work lunch and then immediately back again to bring my friends. Wait staff was friendly, food was to die for, and the experience was great! I had the fried lagman and the raspberry mint tea. Everything amzing!

After a beautiful visit of Pittsburgh skyline from Grand park view point, I searched for some Mediterranean restaurants nearby. This was located way down the mountain. First time visiting an Uzbekistan style restaurant. It has a street style setup with good cozy inside layout. Looked different than usual restaurants. Reception was amazing and explained me what each style of food and told me the best dish would be Lamb shank. I definitely wanted to try it but also wanted to order Pulao/Biryani which is quite popular in Uzbekistan and Afghan countries. Owner was courteous and nice to add the Pulao/Biryani as a complimentary instead of me ordering it separately. You got to believe me on the taste. I have been a great lover of lamb shank and have tasted it at several Mediterranean restaurants, but by far, this is THE BEST lamb shank I had. I loved the Pulao/Biryani rice as well. Enjoyed the tea at end
Lamb Shank - 5/5
Pulao/Biryani rice - 5/5
Tushkany Tea - 4/5
Highly recommend it!!!
