You should absolutely take a class from Chef Alekka! My partner surprised me with a visit from her to our home, where she taught me and a few friends how to cook a full dinner using food we rarely cook ourselves. The menu my partner surprised me with was Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, cornbread, bread pudding, fried green tomatoes, and my favorite, she crab bisque! Not only did the food turn out amazing, but she was so fun to spend an evening with. And she was really good and assigning tasks and giving us various tips and skills along the way that we could use going forward, like various knife skills, working with oil, things like that. She even helped clean up! Honestly this was a really cool birthday gift my partner got me, so I wanted to leave this review to encourage others to book her, as it was a really fun, unique, and special evening that happened in our own home.

We cannot recommend Chef Alekka enough. Such a fun way to celebrate any event and learn a new skill. Alekka is easy going and great for all skill level. We were so pleasantly surprised at the GREAT VALUE; not only did we make and keep boxes of puff pastry, we each made our own puff pastry dough to freeze and take home to try on our own. Will definitely be booking again for other occasions!

I just can't complement Chef Alekka enough! We had an amazing experience celebrating my bachelorette. Not only was the food exceptional with some of the best, intentional, flavor pairings, but she is a wonderfully kind, fun person who is passionate about cooking and the unifying power of a shared meal with the people you love the most. She quite literally caters to you though her tailored menu options and your level of participation. She is a fantastic teacher who is more than willing to guide you in a shared cooking experience, or you can sit back, relax, and eliminate the stress of everything that comes with hosting and enjoy an incredible meal. We loved her and will find any excuse to invite her to our next gathering!!

Chef Alekka helped me celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday by cooking an amazing meal for friends and family at our home. Every step of the process leading up to the dinner was so painless, from the menu selection (she customized everything to include my wife’s favorite foods as well as a gluten allergy), the setup, serving and clean up. She did it all. Even offered help pronouncing some of the wines that were chosen for the meal. Her interactions with everyone in the house, both adults and children, made it a night to remember and we had a lot of laughs! Highly recommend.
