Chicken Burritto and Fried Plantain Appetizers are out of this world delicious and inexpensive as well.
Could be the cold weather but no one there so not much ambiance. Chicken was good and good price. Not impressed with the yucca. Tasted like dried out french fries.

They're banking on that chicken and it should be paying off! I'm not the biggest fan of chicken on the bone but I was very impressed with this chicken. I'd be happy to get more of it right now. I also got a piece of chocolate cake that was not only delicious but humongous! The only detraction was I tried a "Peruvian cola" which I could not stand more than a few sips of. It's a brand and I was trying it for the first time so I can't blame Chicken Latino for that but...

So good!! Got the soft chicken burrito, the spicy green sauce is amazing. Also the tres leches cake was probably the best I've ever had!

Chicken Latino is a good option for homemade-style Peruvian food. I got my food delivered, so I can't comment on the service or the atmosphere of the restaurant. I got the chicken burrito and it was around a foot long, the portions are very large. It doesn't do anything special for me in terms of flavor or spice. The rice is seasoned, tastes a bit better than boxed seasoned rice, beans could be more seasoned, chicken tastes like it's rotisserie (similar to supermarket rotisserie or El Pollo Loco). They put a big emphasis on their chicken that it's marinated overnight and roasted in a brick oven but that flavor doesn't come through to me. Their red tomato salsa tastes and smells the same as Pace / supermarket salsa in a jar to me. Their salsa verde is very spicy, touch of sweetness then a long burn, if you like spice then that's the one to get. Overall, it's a decent restaurant for homemade tasting food, if that's what you're looking for. It takes me back to when my mom used to make homemade quesadillas and burritos with supermarket rotisserie chicken, boxed rice, canned beans, and shredded cheese. Unfortunately, I can't give Chicken Latino any higher than 3 stars as the restaurant doesn't do anything special for me in terms of flavor, you could make very similar tasting food at home.
Located in Beechview is a hidden gem! Latin American Restaurant serving Peruvian chicken. It is absolutely incredible, roasted chicken with amazing flavors- cooked to perfection! The green sauce has a spice kick but is so fresh and delicious!

Excellent as always. I've been going to Chicken Latino since a couple months after they opened in the Strip District. Conveniently (for me) they moved to Beechview a few years ago which is several miles closer to home. The chicken, rice, and beans are always my first choice, but the Lomo Saltado and the ceviche are also excellent and serve to make a hard decision when I stop in for food. Over the years I've also had Chicken Latino cater weddings, work parties, birthdays, and wakes. The food never fails to disappoint.

What great food! They catered an event for a meeting for 50 people that I organized ... awesome communication with the owner setting the menu and they delivered the food right on time ... the employees loved it as is what something different.

I love this place! Used to go to the Strip ever weekend and was so sad when it moved. So glad I found it's new location! And yes, the green sauce is amazing!

Shelbin at Chicken Latino catered wonderful food for our party of twenty, everyone loved the super flavorful chicken, yucca, Spanish rice and beans. Excellent value for money too. I highly recommend Chicken Latino for a dinner party to remember!
Happy Travels
Everyone has an opinion, some are just that and not factual. The owner is Peruvian and super sweet. Maybe there is some USA twists added, why not. Several items available weekends only, call them to check. Cash is preferred to card, why not. Have travelled to Peru many times and sometimes have dry bad chicken there, have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The staff are lovely, my friend that lived in Bolivia loves this place. My suggestion would be offer lomo and ceviche more than Sat and Sun.
