I normally wouldn’t leave a review but this general Tso’s chicken is garbage. The sauce tasted like ketchup and bbq sauce. No spice at all. No chance I would order it again

Hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I ordered the general Tso’s “chicken” and was so disappointed. More than half of my pieces were inedible. I’ve got all my teeth and was struggling to chew the rubbery meat. The broccoli that came with my chicken wasn't cooked and it tasted unwashed. The crab Rangoon was terrible and tasted super fishy- it did not taste like there was only imitation crab in there. Overall the worst place in the entire world to order Chinese from. I’m still craving general Tso’s chicken since the chicken here was terrible and did not satisfy me at all. All I wanted was some yummy Chinese food-I want a refund!!!!

I have been dining here since at least about 2013 and I honestly enjoy my experience each and every time. Ten years later, and now a vegan, I order the “hot pepper tofu”, a variation of a go-to chicken dish that reminds why I continue to make the trek or pilgrimage to this day. Savory onions, heat from jalapeños, and sweet while comfortably searing chili sauce all come together for what I would probably have down for breakfast through dinner. Perfecting this at home might be okay for my wallet but I would still be searching for their friendly faces and comfortable, laidback atmosphere. Well done China Wok ✌️

Had a good meal here - the prices aren't bad, the portions are decent and the food is tasty. The restaurant is nothing fancy on the inside, just plain chairs and tables, but it's clean and comfortable. Service was good and staff were friendly. Two bathrooms available for customers (M and F). The person who ordered pad thai was disappointed that it contained mushrooms, which weren't listed on the menu and had to be picked out, but the dish was fine apart from that, and everyone else's meals were exactly as described.

I was the only person eating in- absolutely no one else came except for take out orders, but they were all white customers if that info helps

Pittsburgh, we have another racist restaurant on Fifth Ave, Uptown. After work on 7/21/23, I didn't want to cook so I went to China Wok for Chicken Mei Fun, I was in line nobody was behind me then all of a sudden this white girl comes up beside me and shows the cashier her order on her phone and says do you have this like I wasn't before her and then I moved over so that she couldn't go ahead of me and this racist cashier after making eye contact with each other gives this ignorant white girl her food before me. I did not want to stoop to their level and become a KAREN. So, I took my food and informed the cashier after I left that she just lost a customer, and I did not appreciate what she did. If my favorite Chinese restaurant China Town Inn sold this, I wouldn't even step foot in there because other food that I have tasted there is nasty. AFRICAN AMERICAN/BLACK PEOPLE MATTER WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!!

I dont love the place but it does help my chinese craves satisfied. I had the family for 2. I should take the egg rolls instead of the cheese wonton (as the young lady recommend). The chicken has too much batter covered and rarely real chicken. Broccoli and beef was ok seasoning but the beef taste like soft rubber (dont know if the beef ingredient they have is fake or not ). In overall, it was an ok place if you crave for some chinese.

Milk tea was good, but they forgot the rice for my order and the won ton soup had so much salt I had to throw it away. The egg roll was the diameter of my thumb :( I was excited to find a Chinese place near our new place, but I guess we will be driving the 10 miles to the other place again as I won't be back.

Ordered take out/delivery. Food was still hot and very fresh when it arrived. It’s your run of the mill Chinese food. Would recommend!

My family and I ordered here Friday night via Uber eats. We were in Pittsburgh because my 5 year old daughter had to get tests done at UPMC childrens hospital. She had to fast by a certain time so we paid a little extra for priority delivery. I don't know if what happened to us was China Woks fault or Uber eats delivery drivers fault. The food was only supposed to take 30 minutes, to which the driver did pick it up by then, however he kept going around the block in this same location for about 20 minutes. We didn't get our food for about an hour later. Needless to say, we got it, and ate it. We were disappointed, some of it was cold, and chewy. Some of it was hot. We aren't front the Pittsburgh area, we are from a little place north of Pittsburgh, and don't have many Chinese options where we are located, and we thought this place was no good. The next morning, my 1 year old daughter started throwing up. Then my wife, and 2 days later I started vomiting and have flu like symptoms. I'm not sure if we got food poisoning or if the delivery driver messed with our food. However as I am writing this I am feeling like death. Had to leave work early (which I NEVER do) so I lost out on a days worth of pay. My wife and daughter are feeling a better, but 3 out of 5 of us got super sick, and my 5 year old daughter almost threw up last night but I think she fought it (she had medical conditions and sometimes gets sick and vomits and hates it, so she really fights it) I'm certain she would have vomited too. My son who hasn't vomited said his stomach was upset and he was on the toilet for hours, so we all had some kind of symptoms of food poisoning, or even something else that the driver did. We do not know.Hence that I can't pinpoint what happened, but I do feel as if we got all the symptoms to food poisoning, I am going to not recommend this place to eat. Coming from people who do not have a lot of options for Chinese and would think this place was going to be amazing. It wasn't. We have had better around our area.
