Wife and I came for dinner. I personally love Chinese food and have been hunting for a good consistent restaurant in the Pittsburgh area since moving here last year. Suffice it to say we found it. I've traveled all over the world and this is by far one of my favorite spots, 10/10 will do this again. Price is very reasonable especially for a post covid world and portions are equal part huge and delicious.
Chinatown Inn last standing Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh Chinatown. When you walk in it has an Asian feel I remember when I was young with the leather booths, the color red throughout the restaurant and fish tanks. Staff was very nice and outfit in old Asian attire. We first try the Chinatown Pu Pu Platter and dumpling to try out the different appetizers. I found this place on GrubHub... Order it religiously for delivery. Decided Christmas Eve, that I wanted to try dine-in. Place was packed for dine in AND it was packed with folks waiting for food. In person it checked allllll the vibe checks and reminded me of one of my favorite places to eat in NYC. Keeping this place in rotation.
