Chipotle has become more and more garbage by the year, but this particular location takes the cake for the worst I've ever been to.
The staff pretends like they are doing me a huge favor taking my order.
They are constantly understaffed and can't seem to take orders in a timely fashion even when nobody is in the store.
They constantly short you on every portion, since they have no idea how to manage inventory.
The food is bland (hard to imagine, when the ingredients are standardized, but bowls here taste noticeably worse).

Horrible location, avoid at all costs.

This was the size of my burrito LOL. The workers were kind and refunded my chips but it’s completely unfair to get half of what I ordered for full price.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I have had at Pitt so far. I went in to get some food around 10 pm, an entire HOUR before they closed but when I got in there the FIRST thing that they said was "First of all-" What?? First of all that is not the way to treat a customer, as if he is bothering you. Sorry you have to do your job. They say first of all we are about to close. Well that is just a blatant lie because it is 10. Then while they watch me as I stand there (I suppose that most people just leave at that point) and I say can I get a burrito. Guess what???? They are out of tortillas. Do I think that is true? Maybe. Should it be true? Absolutely fricking not. Maybe I'd understand it if they sold anything else other than FRICKING burritos. So I ask them if they are out of bowls too. Lucky for me (not actually, more on that later) they say they can do a bowl. BUT WAIT they are out of EVERY topping. So instead of picking up a burrito with white rice, black beans, chicken, salsa, sour cream, and guacomole I get a bowl with a few grains of white rice and some chicken and guac. Wow. When I was ten I lost my family to a house fire. Anyway so i bring it back to my apartment and we try it and actually it is hard to swallow. The rice was so hard youd think they poured the fricking raw rice into the metal tin. I genuinely can't belive that they could even sell that. I paid like 25 bucks for something I wouldnt feed my dog. Matter of fact I don't even know if he'd like it and he eats dry kibble twice a day seven days a week 52 weeks a year. Not good looks at all. Not at all.

They didn’t serve me any food when I was hungry. They had other people in line that they were serving

Rice is not cooked. Dirty. Long long wait in line for only one person serving. The owners should staff it a better.

On 01-23-2025, around 530 PM, my better half and toddler ventured to this location to pick up dinner for the family. There was a sign up stating that there was no kids meal available due to lack of the proper tortillas. Not an issue, my better half asked if they could fold one of the larger tortillas in half, and we would be happy to pay for using the larger tortilla.

Manager retorts, "We cannot do that as then the tortilla would not be available to other customers, and that would not be fair."

Not sure if this is a policy problem or a management training problem, but we are happy to spend our money elsewhere. It is a bummer, though, because as a family that had a member with a nut allergy, this chain represented a safe place for us to dine.

They didn’t have lettuce, cheese, or sour cream. The chicken was undercooked. Would not eat here again if it was the last place on earth to get food 👎👎

Always out of chips and guac at night. Sometimes you won't even get a refund if you ordered online. Rude staff who just don't care. I only go because it's convenient, but service is absolutely atrocious!

The place is good. It's smaller than most Chipotles, but that's understandable considering the area. The first lady attending me wasn't the nicest and acted like it was such an inconvenience that I ordered a kids built your own meal. The second person adding the vegetables wasn't filling up the sections too much, but he did after I asked him to. And the young lady at working at the registers today (12/09/24) at noon 10/10! I can't remember her name but she was very friendly and nice.

Vegetarian options: Great vegan options!

This place sucks and only gave me rice, cheese, sourcream, guacamole and lettuce. They also didnt even get my drink. Service is terrible here. I don’t even like chipotle but I got this food because I’m a broke college student working on my finals atm. Thank you, chipotle for reminding me that you are your workers are incompetent.

Terrible experience tried this chipotle again after going once and not having any briskey, any corn , any cheese .. went today and the cashier didnt greet me at all stood for 5-8 mins with nobody acknowledging me .. everything looked like it had been sitting out literally the entire day brisket was black and super dry , chicken and steak looked the same way , asked if it was anymore brisket and she replied it wasn't which prompted me to leave the restaurant .. don't know what's going on with this location but I must say it's the worst in Pittsburgh by far .

Lady at the counter had no class at all handling a customer in front of me, just throwing him his order as if he was a second class citizen. Her indignant behavior was so telling of her attitude. I’d hate to wake up one day and realize that I have to deal with her as my employee. The establishment is also filthy, as I’ve never once seen it with a single clean table any time I’ve been there.
The silver lining is that they have mexican sprite, but not even this heavenly nectar is enough to persuade me to come back to this entitled restaurant again.

Staff are sometimes very rude and sometimes they're nice. Some ingredients are almost always over. The portion sizes are also very different each time.
